Yoshi is a bright and talented child, he tends to act humble although he is normally surprised when he fails. His natural skill combined with his intelligence makes him have confidence, however he sees no point in boasting, he knows that despite his talent someone just a little more gifted could come along and take everything from him in an instant. This does not stop him from being generally carefree, Yoshi can be frequently seen lounging and relaxing, normally among nature. However, if Yoshi is motivated enough to be drawn to action he must be motivated enough to work hard. Yoshi's mother passed down the traits of a more pacifist personality to him, he prefers to not see bloodshed and will do anything in his power to avoid taking someones life, and will advise others to do the same.

This displacement technique is a specialty of the Ninja from Kirigakure, where one causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan-user will see the mist colored by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the Doujutsu.

The Water Clone Technique is similar to the Kage Bunshin except it creates clones out of water. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water.

This jutsu is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This jutsu can't be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. Despite the fact that the prison is made up entirely out of water, it is stronger than steel. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Even so, the target is still able to speak.

Yoshi was born into a well off family in the richer parts of Ryugakure. His life was easy, but he was raised in the upper class so he has respect, he's not an entitled and spoiled brat. His father was no shinobi, but he was a guard of his home village, an archer, before he married Yoshi's mother. Yoshi's mother, on the other hand, was a shinobi, she wasn't talented in any means of combat but she was a skilled medic utilizing her special grass release ninjutsu that she passed on to Yoshi.

His mother had lived through the horrors of the warring times, before villages had been established, and she passed her more pacifist leanings towards Yoshi. However, it had been obvious that Yoshi was built to be a shinobi from since he was young. He's naturally a very talented shinobi, especially in the branch of ninjutsu. He joined and graduated the academy early, in around half of a year, and has recently become a genin.

Gamaishi is a large toad, about the size of a house. His skin is smooth and has a grey coloration on the top, but is aqua on his underbelly, neck and mouth. His eyes are the normal toad-like pupils, with the irises being orange. He wears a large purple kimono with the Japanese kanji for stone on the back in red, a red pouch full of shuriken, kunai and senbon, and a large iron wakizashi with a black hilt and sheath.
