Team Two's First Mission

[Takeo]

    Miyoko moved with intent, she would prove to herself that these thugs were nothing. Scum of Ryugakure, plebeians, less than the genin, well maybe not less than Kijo. The masked man had led them to the thief's location and pointed out which of the five thugs was him. He wore a typical gray hoodie with corresponding pants and shoes. He seemed like he was nothing, but the warnings the genin were given sat in the back of Miyoko's mind.

    She wondered how to engage the situation or if even she should be the one to engage. Tsukishima spoke, he said that he'd follow what Miyoko did. Clapping her hands together an exact copy of Miyoko formed next to her. Her plan was to use a crow clone as a diversion, climbing up a warehouse building Miyoko waited. Her clone sprinted towards the thugs leaping at the thief specifically. Bearing its bo staff Miyoko's double jabbed at the thief's stomach, the man dashed back and two other thugs grabbed at the clone from behind.


    As Miyoko's clone burst into a swarm of crows she called out, "Now!" Leaping from the warehouse rooftop Miyoko slammed down with her bo staff. Yet to no avail the thief had managed to catch her fall throwing her into a barrel. Colliding with the barrel Miyoko felt dazed and confused. She looked up to see the thugs nearing closer to her...

[Koru]

As all of the events unfolded before Kijo's eyes, he simply was in awe for a moment. Eventually, Kijo would snap out of his daze and continue to run towards the docks with his fellow teammates in pursuit of the thief that happened to continue to elude them. The sprinting continued and Kijo watched as Miyoko sprinted towards the thief with might. She had tried to diverge the thief's attention with a clone and then attack with a surprise attack but Kijo watched as she was easily countered and thrown into some wooden barrels. Kijo laughed to himself for a moment. Afterward, Kijo continued to chase the man and decided to draw out his katana. With the thugs approaching Miyoko, Kijo had to do something. With great force and speed he would slash and jab at one of the thieves surrounding Miyoko in an attempt to try and save his comrade. 

[Sakuga]

The thief stood behind his lesser thugs cackling at the Genin.  "Enough!" he stated coldly.  Black tendrils shot along the ground and locked the three Genin in place.  "I said I had an offer to make, and you're really testing my patience."

"Stand down men"  The bandits surrounding the Genin sheathed their weapons and the Thief approached.  He removed his mask and revealed his alabaster skin and dark spiky hair.  He paced for a moment looking the Genin over before finally explaining himself.  "A long time ago, this village was under a, different, Kage.  His rule was superior he put everyone in their places and made us all equal."  He turned his back to the audience.  "You three Genin work for me now, you'll spy on the Kage for me, or you'll die.  The choice is yours.  My shadow manipulation is only an echo of my full power so don't even try to -outplay- me."

"If~ you accept, I'll be giving you one of these thugs to turn in as 'The Thief' and you'll report to me the Kage's full schedule in a week."

The three Genin including Tsukishima were then released from the shadows. Damn, I- I don't know what to do. Tsuki was speechless.  I don't like this village anyway... we should just surrender.

Tsukishima talks a lot about his strength, but in a moment like this before a force to be reckoned with, he faces fear.

[Takeo]

    The girl's team members had quickly come to her aid, and she for once found herself glad to have companions. Pulling out her tanto Miyoko cut at the palm of her hand and weaved the hand signs of  Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram. As Kijo sprinted at the gang Utamora was summoned into reality, the snake slithered up and into Miyoko's sleeve. With the activation of her sharingan Miyoko was ready for the next attack. Yet it was almost as if the theif had more planned for the genin, and the girl watched as multiple shadows lurched forwards in an attempt to seize the trio. Miyoko threw her arm forwards and launched Uta towards the thief, "FORMATION A!!!" yelled the girl. As Utamora skated through the air he formed most of his chakra within his jowls. Spitting out a plume of rushing water the snake had used Suiton: Mizurappa - Water Release: Violent Water Wave. This was Miyoko's chance to avoid the shadow paralysis, and she lept upwards weaving the hand signs for Kawarimi no Jutsu. There was a puff of smoke as the young teen switched places with her summon, Uta was caught within the entangling shadows but Miyoko was flying through the air above a wave of water. Pulling her hand back Miyoko quickly grabbed a kunai using Raiton: Kangekiha - Lightning Release: Wave of Inspiration, her weapon became coated in a surge of electricity. Stabbing downwards into the thief's shoulder allowed Miyoko to leap off of his body. Stunned by her attack the thief was left wide open allowing Uta's surging wave to collide with him. Flipping over the men Miyoko landed multiple feet behind the thugs, there was a large blast of water and electricity. Her eye's reverted back to normal and Miyoko took multiple deep breaths trying to compose herself. 

[Koru]

Kijo faced adversity with his attack. The thieves were definitely stronger than they looked. He wasn't surprised at the fact that this was true though considering how young he was compared to them. With the clatter and slashing of swords, Kijo decided to take a step back and push himself in a backwards motion to gain some space between him and the thieves. Maybe this will do the trick... And with a fast slit to the hand, Kijo used Chi Shuriken no Jutsu and multiple shurikens started to form from his blood. Now that will do the trick! Without hesitation, Kijo threw the shuriken which would hit two of the bandits in the shoulder but the rest would miss. "Next time I'll make sure that I won't miss, I promise you that."

[Sakuga]

Tsukishima twitched on the back lines.  I cannot... accept failure.  I must... succeed. In a fit of rage Tsukishima ran into the fray and launched the first bandit he found into the air with Konoha Kage Buyou - Shadow of the Dancing Leaf then followed it up with Shishi Rendan - Lion Combo.

This attack consisted of Tsuki following his opponents shadow carefully before administering a swift kick that sent them flying into the air.  While the bandit reached the apex of his flight Tsukishima kicked him in the ribs four times with all his might before throwing him to the ground and delivering one last falling kick.  That was only one bandit and I've only used that combo a few times before.  Can we really win?

The thief watched as the Genin girl attempted to bombard him.  "Is this all you have?"  The wave of water and Miyoko flew toward him but he quickly evaded the attacks by switching positions with a nearby log.  Where he once stood there was a puff of smoke and the thief was gone.

[Takeo]

Miyoko's main goal was to retrieve her primary target, yet he had simply avoided her attack. Within seconds the mysterious man was gone, disappeared into a cloud of smoke. This left the girl feeling empty and useless, yet Tsukishima's impressive display of taijutsu reinvigorated her slightly. Gripping her tanto tightly she dashed forwards with a burst of energy. The remaining thugs were so focused on her two allies that Miyoko knew she could immobilize one of them. Approaching from behind the genin slid onto the ground towards one of the smaller thugs. The man soon went to turn but was met with a tanto deep into his leg. Nothing but a muffled screech remained as Miyoko made quick work of the thug. One punch to the throat and a follow up kick to the face would quickly cause the man to collapse. Retrieving her tanto she readied herself for the next attack. 

[Koru]

After Kijo threw his shuriken he watched as Miyoko and Tsukishima both would attack the thieves on separate occasions with a mixture of taijutsu and simply stabbing them with knives. He wasn't surprised of their abilities one bit and was actually kinda envious that they had such cool abilities to use. Although he was envious, he didn't mind much cause he now knew that the threat in front of him was nearly gone. With one of the last two bandits immobilized, Kijo dashed towards the last bandit with full speed and force of his katana and went in for a swift strike. The sound of metal would clang back and forth a few times until they were both at each other's throats with swords. Kijo knew that he could not fail in a situation like this. All of his comrades had successfully taken down the enemy or scared them away at the very least. It's my time to shine. With one large push left of Kijo's strength, he pushed away at the thief and sliced him right down the left shoulder all the way towards the right side of his waist. The bandit had fallen to the ground and started to back up and eventually crawled back and scurried away as fast as he could. Afterward, Kijo looked back at his fellow comrades and asked "Now do you think we should take this last one that Miyoko had immobilized and question him? We have the ability to get a lot of information out of this man and potentially a nice reward if we bring him back."   

[Sakuga]

"I agree, we should turn this man in and see if any of the higher ups can help us figure out what exactly is going on here."  Tsukishima brushed off his shoulders and took a rope from one of the bodies, before hogtying the unconscious bandit.  "Alright lets drag this bandit back to the HQ for compensation."  Tsukishima cracked his neck and hoisted the latter end of the hogtie over his shoulder.  After all this they had better double the damned pay.  The bandit slumbered peacefully as he was dragged across the soil.

The team took the bandit to the HQ and completed their mission.  They described in their report the Heinous claims of "The Thief" leader.
