Though Takeo initially handled the transfer of Kyuubi into his body well the last few days had been rough. Not only had the chuunin been in immense amounts of pain, but also he and creature weren't on speaking terms. Takeo wasn't a very talkative person, and he quite frankly felt as if the fox hated him. Lugging himself to the library every day Takeo would wince in pain reading up on locations with Hi no Kuni. For one the teen sought to regain some control over his chakra;secondly, Takeo had ulterior motives to enhance his jutsu load-out. During his second time that week at the library Takeo discovered a book entailing "unique" locations in the Fire country. The chuunin had read up on one that was in some of the north-most parts of the country. The book mentioned nothing of danger, yet that the forest was often hidden from most light due to a thick canopy. Continually there were mentions of hidden creatures within the forest. After locating another book that mentioned of a similar location Takeo searched a map for a possible marker. Tenkaigakure remained fairly central in the Fire Country, and of the few books he could find they mentioned directly north being the whereabouts of the forest. Most of the country was littered with forests and directly above Tenkaigakure sat many small countries. Takeo knew that the north most border to Hi no Kuni was mostly divided by forests making for a great defense.

Despite being generally in pain Takeo gathered enough supplies to make the hike to the NORTH. Takeo made sure to make use of his painkillers allowing him to travel in a somewhat timely manner. The distance was too far and the chuunin most definitely could make it before nightfall but he must keep up a steady pace. Completely geared up Takeo strapped a backpack to his back and left the village early the next morning. The chuunin ate a small breakfast before leaving and planned on eating around midday. Takeo surprisingly fell into the swing of things leaping from tree to tree, his body moved naturally. Obviously this was second nature to a shinobi especially one of that in the fire country. Early on there were few breaks in the forest: one following a road which ended at some point into more forest and one between a large ravine. Takeo paused in a clearing and quickly ate of up some fruit he had stored in his pack while also checking his map. The wind was soft and the day was nice;moreover, Takeo felt no sense of urgency at all. He was apparently closing in on the border, but Takeo questioned if he could of made such good time. Finishing is fruit and putting his map back into his bag Takeo sped off again. Soon making it back into more lush forest Takeo traveled for a surprisingly long time. Time didn't feel that notably fast to Takeo but the sun soon began to drop. The horizon lowered and the sky became a soft orange. The trees surrounding Takeo became huge and consequently their canopies were significantly larger. The chuunin even soon found himself walking on the forest floor opposed to leaping through the trees. He paused looking directly up the trunk of one of the massive logs.I could spend time climbing up to the canopy, or I could continue through the forest... I can't exactly focus on channeling my chakra up there. Maybe I'll find something on the ground. The chuunin aimlessly looked upwards pondering to himself on what he was to do.

While walking the teen also ate some more of his fruit which provided him with a nice sugary energy boost. Takeo again had not smoked cigarettes in quite some time, but was still feeling not too shitty. Finishing his fruit he tossed the peel to the ground and began scribbling in his playbook. Running ideas through his head Takeo looked away from his book momentarily. Before him the leaves seemingly changed shade and accumulated in mass amounts. It was almost as the lush green forest had gone through a season change turning into fall. Takeo began running throughout the leaves taking in the scenery. High above crimson and golden leaves fluttered down from the tree tops. The leaves were showering Takeo as he continued to sprint throughout the forest. The deeper he went the darker it became, as the teen could only see what was directly in front of him at this point. The teen soon arrived upon a small cave covered in assorted leaves. The cave was dark but the teen made sure to gather many of the twigs and spare leaves on the ground. Building a small fire pit in the cave Takeo placed his kindling. With a wire tied on to a stick in the fire pit Takeo used Katon: Ryuuka no Jutsu - Fire Release: Dragon Fire Release from the other end of his wire. The fire rushed to the kindling and lit it ablaze. Within almost moments the cave lit up and provided Takeo with a sense of his surroundings inside the cave. The cave was much smaller than he expected but it seemed nicely tucked into the forest;continually, the cave was filled with firefly's that became oddly more noticeable with some light. The creatures flashed all throughout the cave and Takeo sat at his fire. Sliding his body back closer to the back cave wall Takeo closed his eyes. The teen began to control the chakra throughout his body trying to take some sort of hold on his own. With struggle the teen managed to take hold of his own chakra, and with some sense of bravery Takeo began trying to coalesce his chakra with that of the nine tails. There was a loud roar inside of his skull that shook him to his core. "Who the fuck?," cried out the beast. Following this was the sound of massive steps, despite kyuubi's hatred Takeo activated his Sharingan. Allowing him clarity Takeo was able to see the being before him. Takeo had taken part in fighting Kyuubi once before and he wondered if the creature remembered this. Speaking softly Takeo had one request, "please just let me work with you..."There was a low hum followed by an outburst of laughter, "You don't even know what I want, and from what I can tell that's quite out of your character! I don't just want some spineless fool to appease me," resounded the beast.

As if shutting the door right in someone's face Takeo deactivated his Sharingan in an attempt to avoid Kyuubi. The teen began making use of his chakra channeling it within his body alongside his chakra natures. Yet like a curtain fell before his face Kyuubi appeared before him;furthermore, the creature hung his head over Takeo's body growling at him. "So you can make use of my chakra, and my advanced nature?? That doesn't mean I can't make control of you kiddo!" The fox sounded genuinely mad, but Takeo could also hear a sense of urgency in his voice. Is he worried about my presence... Kyuubi proceeded to slam his fist down infront of Takeo screaming, "No I'm not fucking concerned about you making use of my chakra! Don't you ever think for a second that I would be scared of your pathetic ass!" The fox was roaring above Takeo and in yet another attempt to shut him out the chuunin stood upwards. He began radiating shakuton chakra from his body causing the flames in his fire to increase in size. With immense amounts of focus Takeo was able to channel more and more shakuton chakra, yet his focus was soon broken by a loud crash above him. Following this was the sound of a large explosion that shook the cave Takeo resided in. Kyuubi soon went completely silent as the teen moved forwards to investigate.

The chuunin moved closer to the cave exit; simultaneously, Takeo activated his Sharingan. The drain of his Sharingan was now significantly reduced due to Kyuubi’s chakra. I fee almost lighter, the chuunin thought to himself. Takeo did not need his Sharingan to see in the dark despite his expectations. As soon as he left the cave a plume of flames roared above the cave. Quickly running out of the cave Takeo flipped backwards clinging to the outside of the leaf covered dome. Darting up to the top like a fast moving rabbit Takeo flipped into a discussion. ”You know how we feel about those who engulf our beloved home in fire don’t you Tsume!” A large raven was flapping its wings above the cave speaking to a raven that stood right before Takeo. The other raven wasn’t facing him and began to scream at its opposing raven.”Katon—“ screeched the raven before her voice was muffle out by a large flock of fire birds being shot out of her beak. The raven who flew above her was slightly larger and began to fly back jetting water from its mouth. The other raven presumably named Tsume began directing her fire flock at the tree trunks and dead leaves surrounding the confrontation.

The larger raven due to being distracted by the trees lit aflame before him began spraying everything surrounding the three with water. To the right of Takeo huge amounts of water began colliding with the dead leaves set ablaze. While the stern raven was distracted with fire the one named Tsume rushed down her opponent. Before he could say anything Tsume blasted into the suiton raven. The two then proceeded to tumble to the ground as there was a large screech. The chuunin was still standing atop the leaf covered ca e, and ran to the other side to see what occurred. The forest began to light up as the two birds squabbled beneath Takeo. Can I just attack this raven? What is right and wrong anyways... after briefly thinking Takeo decided to take action. Light amounts of shakuton chakra began to surround the chuunin's body has he barely floated into the air. Using Shakuton: Hien no Jutsu Takeo sped downwards on the raven named Tsume. As he quickly grabbed as his ninja-to the chuunin flew down on her right side swiping at her right wing. "Who the hell!"Cried out the large bird as she extended her right wing outwards; in response, Takeo changed the directions of the shakuton currents surrounding him and flew above her wing. The raven finally had Takeo in view as she was attacked by the suiton raven from behind. He managed to get back up, he must be pretty strong! Yet Tsume seemed to have her eyes set on Takeo as she flew upwards spinning with her beak pointed at him. Takeo flew to the right and farther up into the air causing Tsume to pursue. From below Takeo could hear the other raven's stern voice, "Be careful whoever you are! This one has dirty tricks up her sleeves!" Takeo's sharingan could make out the large black curtain flying up to aid him, but in the meantime the chuunin had to deal with the raven named Tsume. As the two flew around the sky like cat and mouse Tsume began charging katon chakra around her body. Within moments Takeo pivoted slightly to be met by a large fire bird homing in on him. The chuunin pushed his shakuton currents down dropping slightly to avoid the bird, that began to circle back for him. Tsume was also still managing to rush Takeo, the chuunin called out to the stern raven yet he did not even know his own motives. As the forest continued to light up Takeo with some confidence said, "Continue to use your suiton to put out the fires! I will only create more!" Without saying a word Takeo could hear the jetting of water beneath and around him, yet as both Tsume and her fire bird closed in on Takeo the teen began channeling shakuton chakra. The forest became brighter and brighter, and as the teen whipped around in the air to face the fire bird Takeo shifted downwards before a tree. As the incendiary bird exploded into the tree trunk Takeo drifted away. With the tree collapsing behind him Takeo continued channeling his chakra as he clapped his hands together. using Shakuton: Taiyou Hifuku. Those with a dojutsu would most likely see the intenseheat surrounding Takeo. Tsume's approach from behind was met by a loud screech that alerted Takeo who turned yet again to see a raven with a few wings on fire plummet to the ground...

Takeo floated back to the forest floor where Tsume laid before him. Surrounding the two was the other raven soaring around putting out numerous fires. Still lingering the teen's head was a slight chuckle followed by a dim voice, "I really thought a brat like you was toast..." Takeo wanted to exclaim about being much older than some "brat" but opted to stay silent instead. The stern raven began calling out to Takeo, "Hey kid! Did you really take her out!!!" Why does everyone take me as some sort of child... Takeo finally thought to himself. "Because you are one," resounded the fox with a low growl. Takeo promptly responded to the other raven instead of entertaining the fox, "I'm fairly sure, she doesn't seem to be moving!"As Takeo called out to the stern Raven he came flying over. The large bird seemed to examine the raven named Tsume; doing things such as lifting up her wing with his beak and moving her neck. The stern raven spoke quietly to Takeo, "Well she's not dead!" His voice was concerned but also somewhat disappointed. "I didn't know what type of threat she placed on your life. Continually I didn't know of your relationship..." responded the teen. Yet while he was speaking the stern raven leaned back over plugging it's beak into Tsume's throat. Followed by much gurgling and blood the suiton raven introduced himself to Takeo. "Well now that we finally finished this up apart from a few fires.... I'm Kuromaku and you?"

What stood out most about the large bird was he gaze, and has his question trailed into Takeo's mind the teen began to relax. From his feet roots began to grow up around the teen, and before he knew it the trees within the forest caved in obscuring the raven and Takeo. The trees began restricting Takeo's movement and Kuromaku mooved in close. "Outsiders may never know of the dealings within this forest..." The raven's voice was hard to make out, but Takeo's mind focused on something else. The trees grabbing the teen were oddly similar and with a focus on his chakra control the chuunin activated his sharingan. The clarity his dojutsu provided him allowed Takeo to make an attempt to take control of his chakra. As Kuromaku's voice continued to echo throughout the teen's mind Takeo slyly reflected his dojutsu back at the raven. "Magen: Jubaku Satsu..." is all that the teen could get out. Yet the raven before him was quickly subjected to the same genjutsu he employed on the shinobi he did not know. As the trees before Takeo began to recede Kuromaku froze completely. With just a whisper Takeo finally gained the chance to reply to the bird, "You never even allowed me the chance to answer, well now I feel comfortable enough to provide you with my entire alias. My name is Kokuun Takeo, a shinobi of Tenkaigakure. I'm sure you've realized by now the same genjutsu you fooled me with is the exactly what's troubling you right now..."Takeo's genjutsu prowess was unique, and he even managed to employ rudimentary versions of techniques he had read about. Feeling brazen Takeo continued to speak as if up on a podium, "You know... I didn't plan on saying anything about what exists within this forest to anyone... BUT I believe now you should help me with that... From what I read up on this forest was not known for attackers or really much danger at all."The chuunin immediately released Kuromaku from the genjutsu allowing him to speak. "I don't care about people like you coming within our forest, and of course I don't want them to be scared. BUT I don't want people like Tsume in this forest...Ya know, you're lucky you also employ genjutsu. No one ever knows what to do in situations like that, but you're most lucky of all due to those eyes of yours..."The raven had trailed off rambling about Takeo's sharingan allowing the chuunin to interrupt. "So, would you consider entering a summon contract with me then?"The cackling that came from Kuromaku was cacophonous, but he did soon respond to the teen. "Us creatures don't enter in summoning contracts! AHAHAHAH--"The raven continued to laugh some more making the chuunin patiently await his answer. "BUT we once did, and I'll be the first to say I'm willing. All you must know about us ravens is that we are picky like the snakes, I'm not afraid to break the rules if you're pathetic..."Kuromaku knew little of Takeo's story and nor of how his life had just recently been shaken up. Yet the raven did seem to see something in the chuunin, and Takeo soon pulled a small scroll from his pack. Unraveling it the raven quickly took Takeo by his wrist. With one hand the chuunin held is scroll and Kuromaku drew blood from his other wrist. "Ehh sorry about that, Raven code,"replied the Raven. Kuromaku then proceeded to sign his name as large as possible on Takeo's scrolling etching the corner with some strange insignia. As Takeo closed the scroll the raven parted the chuunin with a few last words, "Remember I am not indebted to you, we are indebted to each other..." The forest was still oddly burning but Takeo felt safe. He could hear the surprise in Kuromaku's voice when he came to realize the intensity of the fires had ramped up. Yet without a care in the world Takeo walked off, and his exit from the forest was oddly easy. Takeo only walked for a short moment before coming back to a side rode, and behind him steam exited the forest followed back a torrent of "kaws!"
