Team Two's First Mission

Information: A man has been robbing people in Ryugakure recently, it is Team Six's task to wait out his next move and take him down! Team Six should be wary of how slippery this man is, he has evaded capture multiple times.

    Miyoko had finally been assigned a team, yet she didn't know who was on the team. All she knew is what the scroll she had been given earlier this morning told her. As she proceeded to open the scroll she first noticed how hastily it had been written, "Dear Onohara Miyoko, you have been placed on a genin team, team six to be exact. While your team members are not listed here you will soon meet them at the designated location. Once you're there you will find yet another scroll listing what your team's mission is you are advised to complete it as soon as possible."

    Below the written note was a map of Ryugakure with a marked location, the location was on the east side of the city. Turning back Miyoko looked towards the clock, the time was 7:00 a.m. and she gave herself fifteen minutes to get ready. As time passed Miyoko readied herself, gathering her gear together Miyoko was ready to set off, yet as she went to leave the sky darkened and rain began to fall.

    An audible sigh exited Miyoko's mouth and she quickly grabbed an umbrella. The young girl made her way towards the designated location and within a few moments she had found the precise location. The area was a small park bench sitting above most of the city, Miyoko walked over towards the bench and looked around for her teammates only to realize she was the first one there. On the water covered bench was yet another scroll, against her better judgment Miyoko chose to wait for her teammates to find out their mission. The small girl shielded herself from the rain with her Umbrella patiently awaiting her teammates...

[Koru]

It was a cloudy and rainy day. Kijo was assigned to Genin Team Six. He didn't know of his comrades but he just assumed the position and headed towards the marked location where the genin were supposed to meet. Kjio had read that a man was terrorizing people and he didn't like that at all. Especially since it was innocent people. His katana was freshly sharpened and he was physically ready to do this mission. The rain was cracking down hard onto Kijo and his body. Water was dripping from him everywhere. As he walked you would hear the clapping of mud and water all along the trail. Eventually down the trail, he would see a girl sitting down with an umbrella on a bench. Kijo walked up next to the girl and looked down and nodded. Kijo thought to himself. Miyoko is here... I never knew she was a ninja. "Anyways.. where is this final person at? I want to get this done and over with so I can study some things..". 

[Sakuga]

Thieves are pathetic, I could find this weakling on my own I don't need a squad, but I guess I'll do what the system wants this time. Tsukishima was reluctant to take this mission, but was desperate to get his feet wet. He was already out when he was assigned the mission by a subordinate, and made his way there.

The rain pouring on Ryugakure was sparkling and quiet. Like a fairy was sprinkling her magic down onto the city with her magic wand, but not too hard, but not too soft... 

Tsukishima chose to wear a plastic poncho to evade the rain and approached his group at the bench to overhear a male speak. "I think the whole point of the mission is to find out." Tsukishima snatched the scroll from the bench and read.

"I'm watching you. Meet me in the building behind you, I have an offer to make you. I'm the "Thief" you're looking for. I know you Genin are maggots compared to me to hurry it up once to read this or I'll just kill you all for sport."

The scroll on the bench-

Tsuki nonchalantly handed the scroll to the girl and said, "Here, you might want to read this."

[Takeo]

    After a short moment Kijo came up the hill, he was heading towards Miyoko. She felt immediate shame and sighed deeply, how could I be put on a team with such a fool? As Kijo approached Miyoko stood up throwing him a sharp glance. "Ahh Kijo, glad to see you're on my team,"Miyoko said reluctantly. There was a bit of an awkward pause until Kijo broke the silence. He clearly didn't want to be here in the first place and Miyoko didn't want to harm her intelligence by being around him. "Hmm... I'm not sure where our final team member is, I'm sure they're close."Just as Miyoko finished speaking she noticed Tsukishima approach.

    "Ahh so it's Tsukishima, well I'm gla--"Before the young girl could finish speaking Tsukishima snatched at the scroll reading it almost immediately. Within a short period of time, Miyoko was handed the scroll, she scanned it over. It mentioned how the "thief" wanted to make the trio some sort of offer. Miyoko chuckled and slid the scroll into her bag, "What an absolute idiot, he gave away his location. Now we don't even have to search for him, let's go capture him and get this over with."

    Miyoko edged her way towards the building behind them calling out to the culprit, "I suggest you run for it! We're gonna take you down."

[Koru]

Kijo was very surprised at how fast everyone showed up to the point considering the conditions that they were in. But after all the introductions were made, Kijo reluctantly followed the other two to go to the destination that they were headed. He proceeded to unsheathe his katana and watch as the drops of water fell onto it. These two are definitely an interesting couple to be matched with, but I'll have to make dues at my best ability. Hopefully, these two are as strong as their personalities show. "I suggest we make a game plan before we just head into a thief' so-called area." Kijo noticed that Miyoko was carrying a bo staff and that Tsukishima seemed to be unarmed. The wind seemed to pick up a little more as Kijo continued to speak. "Maybe we should hurry up and try to find this man, it's getting a little dangerous out here." Kijo than continued to sit there and wait for a reply from the other two as he played with his sword.  

[Sakuga]

   
Tsukishima lead the group over to the building to a wooden door that was conveniently facing them.  He opened it only to find an empty wooded floor with a set of stairs in the corner leading to the next floor. Tsukishima would lead the group up the stairs only to find another door, suspiciously ajar.

    Tsuki would push open the door only to find another empty room. He must have anticipated our arrival. In the center of the room there was an empty wooden table with a length of scroll left out on it. Tsuki didn't hesitate for even a moment to dart over and read the note.

    If you look out the small window in front of you, you'll see me looking back at you. Don't even think about leaving, I'll hear your footsteps.

    "Another note. Apparently he's across the way waiting for us to look back at him." Tsuki slowly approached the window and looked across, and just like the note said, a set of purple eyes were staring back at him. A whisper started to weave its way into the room...

[Takeo]

    Miyoko stood there, she watched Tsukishima read the scroll, with one swift movement she snatched the scroll away examining it. With time for the both of them to read it and leave Kijo out of the loop yet again, they followed the scroll's instructions simultaneously looking out the window. His eyes were a deep purple, they faded away with a short moment. Miyoko's eyes followed the man's chakra momentarily, losing focus she backed away. Pulling out her bo staff she flung it forwards breaking the window before her.

    Dashing forward Miyoko leaped through the window, her sharingan flickered, the man's chakra formed before her. He was still close, he was still in the genin's reach. The young girl's first mistake was leaving before giving her teammates any prior information, her second mistake was allowing her incompetence into tricking her into a safe space. Miyoko believed she could take on this thief. Her feet pitter-pattered on the wet roofing, she pursued a test. If she could do this she could prove her self-worth. Miyoko had to do this herself, she had to be better than the rest. Quickly scratching at her palm she formed a summon sign, and before her appeared Utamuro. "Water one", called out Miyoko, and with almost immediate reaction Uta had used the hidden mist technique causing the area to cloud with a dense fog. The young girl put a wall between her and her teammates and she was in close pursuit of the thief.

    The young man leaped from the roofing to the ground, he squirmed down into an alleyway. Miyoko threw two kunai in front of him. Leaping into the alleyway behind the man he was caught between Miyoko and her kunai. He shifted back avoiding the kunai, yet this gave Miyoko time to catch up. She leaped forwards jabbing with her bo staff, as the man ducked bellow she pulled her tanto from her other sleeve. Slashing forwards she made brief contact with the man's cheek. He flipped away blood dripping from his face...

[Koru]

As all of the events unfolded before Kijo's eyes, he was completely shocked at how fast Miyoko ran into the mission without giving it a second thought. But Kijo didn't want to waste any time either so he ran with her as she was chasing the man and also watched as she slowly hit the man's cheek. The man began to stumble back and fell eventually on the ground. Kijo than did a large jump behind the man and pointed his katana at his head. The katana was so sharp that even with just the tip touching the man' s forehead, it gave a slight cut. "Don't you suppose it was wrong of you to automatically assume that this was the man who has been robbing the people." Kijo then continued to give a look of disappointment over at Miyoko. Furthermore, Kijo stared back at Tsukishima with a look of surprise and waited till he arrived to secure the man. 

[Sakuga]

    This idiot girl, she has no idea if this person is even the thief. He's obviously had some sort of play for us and it's probably been ruined by this point. Tsukishima peered out the window at his painfully idiotic allies battling with the "thief". There they are. Tsukishima decided he'd rather watch for a moment before he'd mindlessly jump against a stranger with no idea how strong they might be.

    Tsukishima jumped down and from the opposite end of the alleyway watched as the stranger released a powerful hyouton jutsu that would freeze anyone near him solid.

[Takeo]

    Miyoko was surprised Kijo could keep up, he made quick work of stopping the thief's movement. This pleased Miyoko until he snapped at her, lecturing her on assuming this was the thief. Uta slid from the girl's sleeve hissing intensely at Kijo. Miyoko wondered how Kijo could be so idiotic, this man called himself the thief it was the most logical assumption. Quickly snapping back like a snake Miyoko spoke, "This man called himself the thief, that sounds like pretty good evidence to me. And it's not like we came to kill our mission was to simply apprehend."

    The young girl took a mental note of Kijo's lack of impulse, she knew he'd be weak to take action. Yet with all this Miyoko felt her body temperature drop, the water on her body began to freeze. She leaped back dropping her bo staff, her hand soon surged with lightning. Striking downwards at the wet ground she hoped to push through the ice causing the lightning to strike through the thief. Yet she watched as the frozen rain around the culprit burst from the lightning almost like a shield protecting his body.

[Koru]

Kijo watched simply with a straight face as the girl and her snake looked at him angerly. Honestly, I don't really care what we do beyond this point, so maybe I just shouldn't say anything for now and just watch as the events unfold. His thoughts clouded him and he barely noticed that the man below him had cast a jutsu that made everything around him freeze. Thankfully Kijo jumped back in a dash and watched as Miyoko used her Raiton Jutsu to send electrical currents through the ground. Maybe I should just sit back and watch... hmm... no no. I can't do that. I should probably help. As Kijo noticed the man's jutsu spread through the ground. Kijo was fairly fast for his rank, he darted swiftly behind the tree's near them and darted in and out in a zig-zag motion to confuse the man of which direction he was going to go in. He then quickly darted at him in a slashing motion but right before the blade would hit, the man turned over with ice all over his arm and then blocked the swords motion. After the first motion of Kijo's sword, he jumped back and held his guard in wait of his partners to help.

[Sakuga]

I guess the other one is an idiot. Neither of them has given him a single chance to speak. Tsukishima drew his knuckle duster and hid around a corner where he could still watch. We've seen this ninja for only a few seconds now and he's already used an A-rank Jutsu. I'm not risking even approaching someone this strong.

The "thief" dashed out into an opening. "Do either of you have any common sense? I'm not the thief you're looking for, I sent for this mission. That was just a ploy for my true intentions."  


The "But don't worry, you'll be catching a thief alright."


The stranger was standing between Miyoko and Kijo with his arms at his sides. He was wearing long black robes with a strange, almost spiraling white mask. His very stature was strange, crooked, and fear-invoking. The limits of this stranger's powers are unkown. 

[Takeo]

    The three scuffled for a short moment until the suspicious man spoke up, he claimed to not be the thief and that he'd help us find the thief. Miyoko flipped back grabbing her bo staff, sheathing her tanto she readied herself for a stray movement. "You claim to not be the thief but to really prove yourself tell us where the thief is. By doing this you will gain our trust, and this will remove you of any suspicion." Miyoko edged closer to the man preparing for his response or quick betrayal. Examining the man Miyoko felt her body shudder at his menacing appearance.  His mask sent Miyoko into a frenzy of dark intrusive thoughts, she wondered what would happen if she dug her blade deep inside of him. Yet as the man spoke up he broke her train of deep thought.

    "I will indeed lead you to the thief, you'll find him near the docks... I suggest you hurry he could make his next move whenever he so pleases." There was a quick flash and the masked man disappeared after his elusive information. Putting her bo staff back on her back Miyoko spoke up, "I suggest we head to the docks, if this man is even telling the truth... We should really keep our guard up, the only people we can trust is the three of us."

[Koru]

Kijo continuously watched as Miyoko and the thief and all the events unfolded before him. He was slightly stunned and just sat there. Until Miyoko spoke and said that they should all head towards the docks. "I guess heading towards the docks is probably the best idea. I'll follow you guys." Kijo put his blade back and went with Miyoko and Tsukishima. The wind started to pick up a little and leaves blew all across the landscape. 

[Sakuga]

The Stranger lead the group to the lower part of town into a clearing where five shady characters sat around a camp fire.

    The Stranger peered past a corner and pointed at one of the characters and said, "There he is, the guys around him are just common thugs they'll probably just run after you get him. My job is done here." The Stranger adjusted his mask and darted off unto the rooftops.

    Tsukishima drew his knuckle duster and waited behind the corner. "Make your moves, I'll be right behind you."
