Save the Music

[Sakuga]

The crowds started to enter the establishment just after the group lead Shinichi inside and he prepared his instrument, the hammered dulcimer.  Shinichi sat behind his instrument on a wooden stool.  His instrument sat stoically in the center of the stage.  The glossy black wood of the dulcimer shined under the stage lights.  Tsukishima climbed to the top level of the concert hall and was watching carefully from above with his saibogan.

Shinichi after the crowd settled for a moment started to play a concert.  The playing was very soft yet engaging.  The crowd was completely silence except for a few whispers.  You could hear a pin drop in the hall as he played.  The sound of the strings under Shinichi's fingers was the only sound left.

Tsukshima was impressed by this playing.  This is... traditional?  He hated himself for enjoying it for even a moment.

Occasionally Tsukishima looked up to check the outside perimeter but his saibogan has its limits something might just slip by...

Yoshi listened to the plan proposed to the group, and agreed that it was a well thought strategy, so he followed instructions. He and Miyoko were to protect Mr. Hakato directly, so he waited on stage left, training his eyes mostly on the musician, however also trying to keep good track of his surroundings.

Shinichi began playing his concert. Everything seemed normal, the crowd was calm and there had been no interruptions. However, along the floor spread a long dark shadow, shooting for Shinichi's shadow at extremely fast speeds. In an instant, the shadow has grasped onto Shinichi's, and the musician stands abruptly, dropping his instrument and confusing the crowd. Then he quickly reached to his thigh, acted as though he was searching a ninja tool pouch, and threw an invisible kunai and an imaginary target. Or that's how it looked. At the same time, a kunai was launched from the crowd aiming exactly for Mr. Hakato. Yoshi had noticed the shadow a bit after Shinichi stood abruptly and had already gotten to action, however he didn't think that he was fast enough to stop the kunai, and he couldn't locate the enemy out of the crowd!

Kijo and the rest continuously protected the musician until we got to his musician's hall. Everything seemed to be normal for a good while until Kijo noticed a very obscure chakra inside the event hall. Kijo could tell something wasn't right here but before he even knew it, the musician was being controlled by a mysterious man in the crowd. As fast as it all happened, a kunai went flying towards the musician. Kijo with his senses and reflexes in top shape noticed the kunai and quickly created a shuriken using "Chi Shuriken no Jutsu". After a metal shuriken was made from the blood of Kijo, he threw it to hit off the kunai that was aiming right towards the musician. And with this Kijo had noticed the man in the crowd and jumped to him as fast as he possibly could.

    Mister Hakato began to perform odd actions on stage dropping his instrument. Quickly activating her Sharingan Miyoko jumped on stage. Kijo luckily managed to deflect a rogue kunai that went flying towards Mister Hakato. Her eyes following the chakra connecting to Mister Hakato Miyoko revealed the attacker. Ready to pursue Miyoko called out to Yoshi beforehand, "Yoshi please stay here and watch Mister Hakato. I'm going to pursue whoever did this!" Running off the stage Miyoko sprinted through the crowd her sharingan following the shadow. Breaking through the backside of the crowd Miyoko's eyes met with a tall thin man who wore full ninja attire. His back holds what looks to be a ninjato and he has more kunai on his right thigh. He can clearly use shadow possession so I should be careful.  As her left hand reeled back pink crystalline shuriken formed in between her fingers. Using Kesshō: Rokkaku Shuriken allowed her to generate shuriken to attack the criminal with. As her left hand flew forwards six snowflake shuriken whizzed towards the attacker. Following her attack Miyoko chased behind her shuriken with her tanto at the ready.

Right as the musician stopped playing, Tsukishima knew something was up.  He peered into the crowd and watched with his saibogan as an assassin trapped Shinichi in place and threw a Kunai at  his target.  Tsukishima's heart was in his stomach as the Kunai flew through the air, until his team managed to stop the projectile. Thank the heavens.  He watched as Miyoko dashed after the assassin into the back of the concert hall.  The crowd started to billow in fear and stormed out of the venue.  From up above Tsukishima could see the assassin in his fight with Miyoko. This gives me an Idea.

Tsukishima took a step back from the balcony edge and front flipped off.  As he fell he locked onto the assassin with his Saibogan and surprised him with an axe kick from above.

[attr="class","socbodt"]Yoshi had planned on doing what his superior, Miyoko, had asked him. "Way ahead of you Miyoko!" he said as he stood in front of the musician, getting into a prepared stance. Just as he did, a blast of chakra and loud noise hit the Yoshi and Shinichi from their left side. They were knocked to their sides, but rose to their feet quickly, and Yoshi realized that they must have missed an opponent. In pain, Yoshi noticed that the two adversaries had similar looking outfits on that were clearly outfitted for stealth and assault. Assassins... Yoshi thought to himself, he quickly turned to Mr. Hakato and ordered the man behind the Genin. "Don't worry, I'll protect you no matter what. Kirigakure no Jutsu," he said as a concentrated mist expelled about him. He kept the mist mostly on the stage so it didn't take much chakra but it would definitely do the trick. He then retrieved his bo staff from his back and tried to back step with Shinichi to regroup with the team.

The other assassin was quickly able to react to both attacks before him, without looking somehow. He quickly side stepped both attacks, dodging the only shuriken that still came at him. "Shinobi of Ryugakure? No, just children. I'll deal with you quickly," The shinobi preformed four quick jutsu and then he seemed to almost be shaking, if one was looking hard enough, and there was a faint hum, if one was listening hard enough. Quickly, the assassin removed two tanto that he had sheathed on both sides of his waist and came at Tsukishima with great speeds, attempting a straight forward kick at high speed.

As soon as Kijo deflected the kunai, it seems the crowd and his team were quick to jump to it. Tsukishima had gone straight in for a taijutsu combo and Miyoko and Yoshi made sure to use their jutsu to cover the battlefield in hopes to stop the attempted murderer. Kijo thought to himself quickly and decided the smartest move would be to jump towards the musician and defend him at all costs. Kijo knew that the man must've seen this coming. What should we do now.. It seems as if we are in a dilemma. And after a quick thought Kijo decided he would let his fellow comrades fight while he decided to stay back with his katana drawn making sure to defend the musician from any projectiles or people that decide to come towards the stage. "You guys really are some terrible assassins if you can't even stop us genin from halting your progress!"

Team two's only female

    Luckily Tsuki had showed up just in time as he came bounding over the building's upper level. Both Miyoko's shuriken and Tsuki's attack were easily sidestepped by the assassin. The man soon unsheathed two of his own tantos and came running at Tsuki. Now's my chance, Miyoko thought to herself. As her body turned into a fluid state the young genin slipped beneath the ground using Doton: Dochuu Senkou. Her eyes could see the chakras of both Tsuki and the assassin; moreover, Miyoko proceeded to position herself behind the assassin. From behind the young girl emerged from the beneath the concert floor throwing her arms forwards. Within moments two large white snakes emerged from Miyoko's sleeves as she used Jagei Jubaku. Aiming at the assassin's waist Miyoko's snakes started at his hips rising up. In an attempt to constrict around most of his upper body Miyoko sought to disable his ability to use jutsu.

Tsukishima prepared himself to be attacked by the assassin.  He was ready for the worst, right before Miyoko jumped from beneath the earth to come to his aid.  I feel like this has all happened before.  The assassin was stopped dead in his tracks as snakes wrapped around his body confusing and constricting him.  Now's my chance.  Tsukishima started to follow the assassin's movements closely until he fully matched his opponent's shadow.  Tsukishima quickly shifted his weight and gave a hearty kick at the assassin's center completing Konoha Kage Buyou.  Almost there.

Tsukishima followed him into the air and started to complete his full combo. "Raaaahhh!!! Lion Combo!" (Lion Combo) Tsukishima bi-cycle kicked the assassin upward four times then quickly drifted down.  He made sure to leave the assassin in the air so his team could follow up if he didn't escape although it was likely that he would.

[attr="class","socbodt"]Yoshi backed out of the mist he had created and noticed that Kijo was now at his side, and now that they were both protecting Mr. Hakato he could finally go on the offensive! He noticed, as he scanned the room quickly, that Miyoko and Tsukishima had devastated the other assassin, leaving him open for attack! "Kusaton: Kusa Senbon!" he yelled, as he caused grass blades to launch like senbon at the opponent through their hand. These senbon pierced the flying assassin's body, doing enough damage to render him immobile as he hit the ground hard. Then, as if like clockwork, the assassin that had been searching for the Genin and musician burst through the mist Yoshi had made. Yoshi responded by swiftly cast another jutsu, "Kusaton: Igahōshi no Jutsu!" he yelled. He released a large amount of grass spores into the atmosphere in the direction of their enemy. Once they hit their unsuspecting opponent, they swelled in size and started siphoning his chakra immediately. As his ability to move was stolen from him by the growths now on him, he was wide open for a devastating blow from Kijo!

Kijo watched as Yoshi almost seamlessly took care of the assassin after Tsukishima and Mikyoko did their damage to him. Kijo noticed though that this would be his chance to attack since Yoshi had left the man pinned down with nothing to do. "You really fucked up now, didn't you?" Kijo watched the assassin try to move but he was already constrained. Kijo decided to make this kill quick and easy with a straight jab right into the heart. After he stabbed the man he twisted the blade slightly and then finally released it from the man's body. Afterward, Kijo said to the group that they should contact the village if possible and call someone to help clean up this scene. "I can take the body away, I don't really mind since I know I've killed this man." Kijo then would pick up the man's body and look at his fellow comrades and wait for there response.

Team two's only female

    Her Sharingan followed Tsuki's movements exactly. Interesting how he mimics the shadow of his opponents and then proceeds to attack, thought Miyoko. The genin watched as if studying before a test and readied herself as Tsukishima finished lion combo. Next to Miyoko appeared a clone generated from crows and the two both backed away momentarily. As they sprinted forwards Miyoko's clone leapt off of her launching towards the assassin. The clone's tanto surged with electricity as it used, Raiton: Kangekiha. Running up a few more feet Miyoko attempted to position herself where the assassin would eventually land. Her clone managed to stab downwards into the criminals right shoulder flipping over onto his back. As the replica kicked off from the man's back she burst into crows. At the ready Miyoko used Shōton: Kurenai no Kajitsu as the man dropped to the floor. Surrounding the assassin was a pink cyrstal for which he banged on relentlessly from the inside. Looking past at Tsuki Miyoko spoke, "Your taijutsu is truly remarkable Tsukishima, nice job again at apprehending the criminal!" As her eyes reverted to normal Miyoko's head shook with pain. I must improve my Sharingan to obtain its true potential, she pondered.

Tsukishima looked at the assassin that was trapped before him, then looked back at the one behind him who was stabbed through the heart by Kijo.  That wasn't so easy.  Tsukishima cracked his neck and looked around the room with his Saibogan.  That was the last of them.  "The last one is over here in this crystal guys!  Let's take him out together?"

Tsukishima waiting for his teammate's response what happened next was up to them.  Did Tsukishima miss some assassins who prowled nearby?  Or would team two finish this mission and eliminate this final assassin, or would he escape?

[attr="class","socbodt"]Yoshi winced and turned his head quickly as he saw Kijo kill the assassin. However, as everything came to a close, Yoshi felt relieved. He turned to Mr. Hakato and asked him to go find a nearby Jounin or Chuunin and have them come here to handle the scene. Then, as Kijo asked him his question, Yoshi responded by saying "I wouldn't do anything to the body. It may prove useful for the Jounin when they investigate this attack on Mr. Hakato," he then turned to Tsukishima and Miyoko and said to them in a voice loud enough for them to hear "hey! Don't do anything with that guy either! We wouldn't want to let him out and him get away before the Jounin could extract information from him. You can hold that just for a bit, right Miyoko?" Within a half of a minute, a Chuunin and Jounin entered the area. They began contacting other shinobi and bordering off the area.

Kijo watched as the others took down their opponent and Kijo also watched as Yoshi tried to tell everyone that we need to keep the bodies in place. Kijo would listen this time... "Alright I'll put this idiot down, only because of those chunnin and jounin." That pesky Yoshi, what he doesn't realize is that I need to eat soon or I'll go absolutely crazy. After a quick moment, Kijo snapped back into reality and let the man down and smiled. He watched as the chunnin and jounin would block off the area and immediately contact other ninjas to the scene.
