The two were soaring over the northmost tip of Hi no Kuni where Takeo had made his summoning contract with Kuromaku. The teen looked down at the cluster of trees and his mind surged with memories of when he first met his raven summon. "Ya know, I doubt that fox knows or remembers me at all... But how could I not remember him! I've always looked up to him in some ways though, he really instills fear in all humans. Anyways, all I think you should strive towards Takeo is putting yourself on an equal level with Kurama. If you both can see one another equally then you'll be unstoppable." As Kuromaku finished speaking he began flying downwards in preparation to land. The two had safely crossed the border of Hi no Kuni and Kamanari no Kuni, but Kuromaku seemed to have his fill of Takeo. The raven landed atop a rocky cliff side and leaned his head down. Takeo understood the gesture and leapt off of his summon. The chuunin gave Kuromaku a bow before thanking him, "I appreciate your insight, and I wish the best until I summon you again." Kuromaku gave Takeo a bow back before disappearing into a burst of smoke. Well speaking with him was wonderful and all, but how the hell am I supposed to get back to Tenkaigakure now... I guess I'll be spending a few days getting back. The sun is already beginning to set, worried the chuunin.

Takeo was standing straight looking back towards the forests of Hi no Kuni, and following his intimate gaze across his home country the chuunin turned around to face the mountainous region of Kaminari no Kuni. His eyes scanned the region as far as they could and the first thing he noticed was gathering clouds in the distance. That looks like rain in the distance, great all I'm wearing is a t-shirt. What was I thinking letting that raven take me wherever he pleases. My best bet now is to find a small village I can spend the night in. If not that I'm going to be sleeping under a literal rock. Takeo continued standing there momentarily deep in thought, but as the ring of thunder shook through his head he started moving again. The chuunin was making his way alongside the cliff side he was dropped off upon. Kaminari no Kuni was littered with turbulent weather which Takeo was not prepared for. The chuunin ran atop the rocky structures treating them like trees, but as he entered the rain he lost his footing. Some wet rocks broke beneath he feet and he lost his footing. As Takeo fell off of the large mountainside he used Kuchyose: Raikou Kenka to summon wire and a kunai. Still falling Takeo quickly tied his wiring around the base of his kunai which he quickly threw into a nearby tree. Takeo's kunai struck a nearby tree which allowed him to catch himself. He wrapped his wiring around his wrist; consequently, because of the distance he fell the wiring wrapped around his hand and wrist began to tear at his hand. Luckily for him though his wire was strong enough to support his weight and falling distance. The chuunin swung forwards still holding onto his wire but let go as he moved forwards. Using the momentum he built up Takeo flipped forwards and stuck the landing.

Upon landing Takeo realized his hand was soaked in blood, so because of this he held his hand up facing the rain. The rain droplets washed the blood off of his hand allowing him to continue on. Now the chuunin was walking along the ground opposed to being up above with a large view. Takeo could really only walk forwards in hopes that he'd come across a village. The sun had completely set and the chuunin was walking by himself in a country he'd never been to. Fuck have I had a long day today... It's not even over and I've already almost died once... Ninja from this region must be staunch as hell, considered Takeo to himself. Other than the occasionally strike of lightning the surrounding area was completely dark. Takeo wasn't even walking along a path, but instead he was walking through a small patch of trees surrounded by jagged rocks. For a moment the chuunin thought he heard something break behind him, but he blamed it on his current state and overlooked it. Yet as he continued walking a rock was thrown at him from behind; moreover, the rock collided with his right shoulder and bounced off in front of him. Hmph, I guess I'm not delusional, worried Takeo as he turned around to look where the rock was thrown. Before activating his Sharingan someone came from the treeline and punched Takeo in the jaw. The chuunin lost his footing and flew to the side into a tree trunk. His head was hanging downwards, and when he looked back up his eyes were met with three individuals standing in front of him.

The chuunin could feel blood pooling in his mouth, and before Takeo could get up or dash away he was being picked by his hitai-ate around his neck. His eyes caught with his assailants deep green eyes. Takeo quickly flashed his Sharingan using Kokushibyo before his attacker could even speak. The two other's behind the large man that picked Takeo up looked confused when the chuunin was dropped back to the ground. The man standing before the chuunin limped and began to scream intensely in a lulled dream like state. The sky filled with light and with the following thunderclap Takeo jumped up and flipped off of his mesmerized attacker. While flipping forwards in the air the chuunin used his momentum to fly down and kick one of the two remaining enemies in their shoulder. Despite Takeo's surprise attack knocking one of his enemies down the other bandit was charging for the chuunin with a tanto.

Moments before the malnourished man could stab at Takeo the chuunin easily kicked his tanto out of his hands. The attacker immediately went to punch the chuunin in his gut, but this was also easily avoided through a simple sidestep. Following this sidestep Takeo spun around behind his attacker and swiftly picked up his tanto. When the attacker turned around the chuunin pressed his assailant's own tanto to his throat. "Hmmm, now what are you planning here. You all banged me up pretty bad, now tell me why you should walk free?" Meanwhile the large man entrapped in Takeo's genjutsu was crying out in pain. The man who charged Takeo with the tanto was now shaking in the pouring rain unable to speak as Takeo held the blade to his throat. The chuunin began to apply pressure causing the scared assailant to reply, "Please just let my friend go, what did you do to them." Before the attacker could continue Takeo turned the tanto around, and he struck the man over the head with the hilt of the blade. With an applied amount of force and striking a specific place it was ease to render the man unconscious. When he collapsed on the muddied ground Takeo stepped over him and walked towards the other assailant crawling away on the ground.

His opponent dug his fingers desperately into the mud attempting to escape whatever happened to his friends. The chuunin's footsteps were muffled by the current thunderstorm because of this the crawling man was completely unaware of the approaching shinobi. Takeo bent down ever so slightly and bashed the back of his attacker's head with the hilt of the stolen tanto. The chuunin then noticed that the man trapped in his genjutsu was now collapsed on the floor with blood pooling from his ears and nose. Despite the rain Takeo pulled out his playbook and jotted down an estimated time for his genjutsu. He soon slipped his playbook back into his pocket and headed on his way. Despite the thunderclouds littering the sky it was also densely filled with stars. The chuunin found his way out of the small forest area and stumbled upon a brick path. How did I miss something like this? I went from odd rock structures to a small patch of forest only to come out onto a path. I guess it's best I just accept it for what it is... Takeo mulled through his thoughts before stepping onto the brick path. He looked around for any nearby signs but found none. Because of this he continued stumbling around aimlessly in hopes of coming upon a village.

The mud surrounding the brick path that Takeo's feet treaded upon began to swell and rise like water. The downpour was relentless and the chuunin sought any sort of shelter. Despite the rain obscuring his view Takeo's eyes could make out faint lights in the distance. It was almost as if his body moved on its own as the chuunin broke out into a full on sprint. The rain drops that hit his body were large and painful but it didn't hold the teen back. As Takeo approached the lights he noticed it was a small mining town. When the chuunin approached an elderly woman standing under an umbrella greeted him. "Well hello there young shinobi, you look quite hurt. Did the highwaymen get to you? Let us patch you up, just follow me." The small woman turned around and walked into the one street town. Her pace was surprisingly brisk, but Takeo managed to keep on her feet. She led the two to a small wooden building sat between what as obviously a bar and what seemed to be some sort of general store. Upon entering the healing shack Takeo's nostrils were met with an intense smell of formaldehyde. "Alright well this is Ogai, he'll patch you up," resounded the older woman. Before she could leave Takeo questioned her, "Wait, I didn't catch your name. I am Kokuun Takeo, and thank you for your kindness." The woman sighed slightly and replied, "You youngsters! First of all, you should say thank you before asking my name!" The old lady crossed her arms and looked sternly into Takeo's eyes before continuing on. "My name is Momo Kimiko your rudeness," as she finished speaking Kimiko gave a hearty laugh and exited the healing shack. Ogai had not noticed either Takeo or Kimiko this whole time and was busy working away at something. Wait, she didn't ask for my name... so odd, worried the chuunin. "Um excuse me? Ogai, is that your name?" As Takeo mentioned Ogai's name the strange man turned to face the chuunin. Takeo tried to avert his gaze from Ogai's deformed face and asked him a brief question. "Do you know where I can stay here for the night?" Ogai stared Takeo up and down before replying, "The building across from this lovely little shack is a small inn. There should be an open room there, no one ever stays for more than a night!" Before Ogai could even continue Takeo quickly exited the creepy healing house.

Takeo burst through the inn's doors with great haste. The disheveled shinobi approached the front desk with a sense of loss surrounding him. The person working at the inn seemed to be around Takeo's age and she first spoke to the chuunin. Her voice was soft and soothing, the only softness Takeo had experience since entering Kaminari no Kuni. "You look tired, we have one room available. It's the only one upstairs, here let me get the key." The young girl opened a drawer and retrieved the key. She outstretched her arm towards the chuunin. Oh, no please just put it down," worried the chuunin. Reluctantly Takeo also outstretched his arm and retrieved the key. The brief moment that Takeo's hand brushed up against the inn keepers hand his cheeks warmed and flushed with blood. "Enjoy your stay Takeo," announced the girl. "Will do," replied Takeo as he walked off towards the staircase. The wooden staircase was decrepit looking but surprisingly not creaky at all! It wasn't until Takeo made his way upstairs that he realized the inn keeper knew his name without him providing it. A shiver crawled down his spine as thoughts shot through his head. I know this town is small, but I only gave my name to Kimiko... Well I suppose Ogai could have overheard me, but there is no way he could have communicated that to the innkeeper in the time it took me to get over here. I guess Kimiko must've said something. Takeo unlocked his inn room door and headed inside. The room was cramped with a single bed and a small armoire. The chuunin slipped his boots off and fell into bed still with his wet clothes on. Takeo immediately fell asleep due to the exhaustion his body was experiencing.

There was a loud crash in the distance that shot through Takeo's mind and woke him up. Immediately upon awaking Takeo realized he was bound at his hands and feet. The chuunin went from lying on his side to sitting up when he heard to people approaching the room he was in. The iron door in front of him and Takeo quickly slumped back down pretending to sleep. "Alright lets just get this meat sack and chop him up for tomorrow," announced one man while the other replied. "Man he doesn't look like he's got much meat on his bones, this couldn't even feed Momo herself!" Takeo's ruse was in full force as one of the man picked up the chuunin and slung him over his shoulder. The man carrying Takeo was in front of the other man and they all moved down a narrow corridor. Takeo shifted his weight forwards causing his torso and head to shoot downwards. Takeo's feet shot upwards and as soon as they touched the rocky ceiling Takeo used all of his strength to push down. Within a second Takeo had slipped out of the hand's of his capturers. The captor directly in front of Takeo reached for a cleaver at his belt and slashed at Takeo. The chuunin pivoted his arms around and towards the cleaver. The blade cut through the ropes binding Takeo's hands and cut his right wrist. Before his captors could make another move the chuunin weaved two hand signs. Takeo used Shakuton: Gorogoro Kashou which launched scorch release chakra from his mouth at the first captor's chest. This wildly hot air caused the man's chest to cave in and collapse upon his heart and lungs. His body quickly collapsed the floor as Takeo reached for his cleaver. The other captor screamed with fierceness as he came down upon the chuunin. Takeo was knocked to the ground before reaching the cleaver and he had a large man atop him. The man immediately started throwing punches at the chuunin's face but Takeo managed to pull up his arms. The force of the punches rocked his arms back into his face, so the chuunin knew he had to take swift action. His eyes shifted hue and he moved his arms allowing him to make eye contact with his remaining captor. Takeo used Kokushibyo on the man which placed him in a torturous dreamlike world for roughly ten minutes. When the genjutsu made contact the man stopped punching and collapsed upon Takeo. Fuck he's heavy," thought the chuunin as he pushed the man's body off of him. Finally Takeo reached for the cleaver and freed his legs as well.

Despite the commotion no one else seemed to notice what Takeo had done. The rocky hallway he was standing in was damp and dark. The chuunin had no clue where he was, and the only thing he could determine was that he was deep underground. Takeo crouched back down and began searching his captors. On the man whose chest cavity was collapsed inward Takeo found a large key ring. Takeo dipped his pointer finer in the man's collapsed chest cavity. Following this, the chuunin used blood to draw a seal on his right palm. Takeo then used sealing technique to seal the cleaver into his right palm. Alright, now I need to figure out what the fuck I'm gonna do, worried the chuunin. Takeo was still confused about what had happened, but if one thing was apparent it was that the chuunin was seemingly kidnapped in his sleep. Takeo's mind had wholly shifted into survival mode and he began strategizing ways to escape. Hmph, if only I knew any sort of doton jutsu. My only bet on getting out of here is to simply find my way out, pondered the chuunin was he pressed forwards. Takeo silently approached a fork in the hallway that lead to his waking point. His Sharingan scanned to the right and then to the left. The left hallway didn't seem to have anybody in it while the right one had a small chakra signature. Takeo turned right and crept forwards down the dimly lit hallway. The further he got into the hallway his eye's trained on someone standing up against the wall smoking a cigarette. Man, I would kill for a cigarette right now, considered Takeo as he approached the man smoking. Not only was the man focused on his cigarette he had headphones on playing music. Takeo quickly swept the man's legs and as he fell the chuunin grabbed him by the throat. The man's cigarette was spit past Takeo's head onto the ground and his headphones fell off revealing the music within. The man looked stunned but had clearly understood not to say anything. "Where is the way out of this shithole," questioned Takeo. The chuunin let some pressure off of the man's throat allowing him to now reply. "Take the second door on the left in this hallway and there is what looks like a small broom closet. There's a small elevator in the closet, but it can only fit one person. Please don't kill --" Before he could finish his sentence Takeo punched him directly in his temple knocking the pinned man out. The chuunin stood back up and walked over the unconscious man's body. He sprinted towards the second door on the left and flung it open. Takeo's eyes immediately shot to what looked to be a small closet. That's it, he thought. But before he could approach the door it was blasted down, and a massive man lowered himself through the doorway. He readied a large club in his hands and without a word charged at Takeo.

The gargantuan man wielding the nasty wooden club was shirtless with a layer of blood covering his chest. He's surprisingly brisk for his size, thought Takeo as he was being charged. The moment the enemy closed in Takeo waited for when the man reared his club. Now, decided the chuunin as he dashed towards his target. When the man brought the brunt of his club downwards on Takeo the chuunin rolled the right avoiding the attack. Takeo then dashed into the broom closet. In the time it took the large man to pick his club back up and turn towards Takeo the chuunin was already heading up on the elevator. The death machine was rickety and cramped, and the chuunin readied for any sort of attack. The ride up felt like it took an eternity, but after a while the elevator beeped and came to a halt. The shabby doors slowly slid open and Takeo's eyes were met with what seemed to be a darkened cave. So they hauled me all the way up into this cave system just to chop me up, they must be desperate, questioned the chuunin deep in thought. Takeo made no waste of his time and quickly exited the small cave. The cave was high up on the side of a rocky mountain, and from above Takeo could see the lights of the small village he resided in before being kidnapped.

It was as if Takeo was the first individual to ever escape from these cannibal captor's. They were ill prepared and only left a few people to guard the mountain dungeon. Takeo was unsure how long he had slept for, but it was still deep into the night. Continually, the thunderstorm from before had shifted into a steady downpour that gave no signs of letting up. The chuunin bit slightly into his pointer finger and placed his five fingers against the ground. Following a poof of smoke appeared a sturdy looking raven that peered down upon Takeo. "What did I tell you? Don't go summoning me all the time! And now that you've got a taste of that fox's chakra you think you can summon me how you please? Pfft, give me one good reason to stay!" Kuromaku was clearly annoyed, but Takeo was ready to smooth this over. "Kuro, I understand the agreement we came upon. I would not summon you this soon if it was not dire--"Before Takeo could continue the raven interrupted him, "spit it out you pathetic ninja!" "I was almost eaten by cannibals! I woke up tied up and I barely got away," continued the chuunin. Kuromaku's look shifted into that of malice as he replied, "Well why don't we just kill them all then." Takeo stretched his right leg slightly before responding, "I'm unsure if the whole town is in on it or not. I don't want to just run amuck killing innocents. Let's just head back to Tenkaigakure please." Kuromaku lowered himself so Takeo could get on his back. The two soared off away from the cannibal cave. "What am I now? Your ride everywhere," roared the large shadow of a bird.

The chuunin sat cross legged atop his raven summon. There was silence between the two for a short while before Takeo spoke up. "Without you I'd be collapsed somewhere drooling out of my mouth," uttered the chuunin as he ran his hands threw the summon's feathers. "I've gotten more used to your annoying summons, I really just find you humans funny. Not being able to fly and what not," replied the raven with a surprisingly cheerful tone. Takeo pulled the knots out of his hair and straightened his clothes. The chuunin tied a two locks on each side of his face with some bandage. The rest of his hair flowed behind him as he flew through the sky. Takeo closed his eyes and placed his hands together. He began to channel his breathing and meditate; meanwhile, Kuromaku was nearing Hi no Kuni territory. The sun was rising in the east when Kuromaku flew into Hi no Kuni. The warmth on Takeo's face corroded the chuunin's hard exterior and softened him. His first time in Kaminari no Kuni was rough, and his body could clearly tell what home felt like. Kuromaku lowered the two just above the tree's; Takeo continued to mediate and channel his chakra. The chuunin had started growing to understand that sealing a living being inside of him did not mean the addition of more chakra or another tool to use. Kyuubi was his own being and was unwilfully merged with Takeo. The chuunin knew this, and he was constantly trying to figure out how to work around this. Meditating helped Takeo on base level by allowing him to freely move his, and some of kyuubi's, chakra throughout his body. He didn't have to worry about any sort of danger or hurting someone else. Takeo had used meditation as a tool before in his life, but it wasn't until becoming a Jinchūriki that he came to understand it more.

Kuromaku's flight path had roughly an hour left which allowed Takeo more meditation time. He was in a complete state of bliss, and his body hummed with energy. The chuunin had been feeling great as of recently, at least physically, but he had been forming what looked to be bags under his eyes for some time now. Yet, these supposed bags do not disappear no matter how rested the teen is. Both Kuromaku and Takeo seemed to be enjoying the silence they shared on this early morning. Takeo was dreading the thought of ever being assigned a mission in Kaminari no Kuni. The chuunin couldn't help but smile thinking about seeing his friends again. Takeo wasn't used to feeling warm towards other people, but he felt a strong connection to his friends. He wouldn't want it any other way either; if they didn't share that connection their teamwork wouldn't be as successful. Kuromaku was nearing Tenakigakure and began to chitter to gather Takeo's attention. The chuunin's eyes slowly rose open. "Ahh, I can see where quite close. Would you mind flying me right by the wall outside of the Kokuun sector," questioned Takeo while he patted Kuromaku on the head. "Yeah, yeah," replied the raven as he flew around Tenkaigakure.

A shadow was looming over the outskirts of Tenkaigakure's walls, it was a big ass bird! Kuromaku landed on the side of Tekaigakure's surrounding wall near the Kokuun sector. Two guarding shinobi immediately ran over concerned. Takeo drifted down from the back of his raven and flashed his hitai-ate. "Sorry about that, I've had a bit of a rough night," muttered the chuunin in response to the concern on the shinobi's. Takeo turned back to Kuromaku and thanked him for his help before the raven disappeared into a poof of smoke. The chuunin walked down the side of the wall into his home neighborhood. Walking home from here was easy, and Takeo couldn't wait to lay down in his bed. A few of the elderly people of lived in the Kokuun sector approached Takeo with concern because of his state, but the chuunin assured them he was fine. One elderly lady insisted that she'd bring Takeo some dinner later tonight when awoke from his sleep. He was never really fond of Tenkaigakure, or the Kokuunn, but sometimes he felt cared for by his supposed clan.
