Snowflakes began to pile up on Kazuha's white hair. From behind the metal trash can Kazuha shook his head shaking off some of the snow. He peeked up from the trash can every so often, but when he peeked up to see food be placed down at their table he decided to move. Kazuha quickly sprinted to the other side of the street and leapt up on a sign. From their he jumped on a one story building and climbed to the roof. The boy positioned himself on a roof across from the café Shinichi was in. How long are is he going to leave me out here in the cold, considered the boy in thought as he rubbed his hands together. Kazuha took inhale and watched as his exhale trailed off into the air.

Hmph... Shinichi thought to himself as something out of the corner of his eye caught his attention out the window. Mizuka and the man continued to have a pleasant conversation, "ah, I suppose that makes sense. Most of these dense villages are a tad scrupulous, although I did find Hyoudengakure genuinely less so. Place was kind of a shit hole, haha," he shrugged as he said so. After this, he had practically finished his meal, Shinichi was naturally a fast eater but their travels had really put an appetite in the ninja. Without a second notice, he snatched the left over yakitori and filled his mouth, swallowing it quickly. "So... shall we take our leave?" He called out to the waitress once more and requested a refill of his green tea, dropping 10 times the regular price on the table to cover the cup he planned on taking to-go whether it was policy or not.

It didn't take Mizuka long to finish her takoyaki and remaining tea. At the mention of Hyoudengakure the woman's ears piqued and she replied, "yes, but that Mizukage... he's gorgeous!" Despite being born in Mizu no Kuni, the woman had only seen the Mizukage a few times up close, but she always wondered what his insides felt like. Shinichi asked Mizuka if she wanted to leave which prompted her to say, "I'm ready as long as you're paying." Shinichi was quick to put a large sum of ryo on the table and walk out with his remaining tea. The snowstorm had picked up some and it was surprisingly cold even for Mizuka who was practically cold blooded. "Let's find somewhere to stay for the night, it's awfully chilly," announced Mizuka as she started walking towards the center of Tekaigakure.

Kazuha finally felt free when he saw the two begin to exit the cafe. Now is my chance, and this snowstorm will help with the presentation. Before approaching Shinichi, Kazuha went in the opposite direction, which so happened to be where Mizuka and Shinichi were heading. The boy moved through the small alley ways within Tekaigakure. His Hiramekugan could see two nervous systems close to one another farther down in the alley way. Kazuha used Kuchyose: Raikou Kenka on his shoulder to summon a purple cat ceramic mask. The jutsu caused a small flash that caused the two individuals further in the alley way to look over. Before they could make the boy out he put his mask over his face and fastened it. Kazuha approached the two men, who were both smoking together, and didn't say a single word. The teen used Kirate in his left hand and cut one of the men's heads clean off. Before the other one could even scream Kazuha punched him in the temple knocking him out. "You will be the person to survive," murmured the boy as he placed a lychee candy in the man's gushing neck cavity. Kazuha retrieved the man's decapitated head and scaled the alleyway walls back to the rooftops. His Hiramekugan was quick to notice the walking duo that was Shinichi and some lady. Kazuha swiftly flipped down directly in front of the duo. Upon landing the boy held the decapitated head in front of his head and called out in a deep voice, It is I, the ghost of Tekaigakure, ooooooo,"

190# ♦ Shinichi no Kotonashi

Shinichi and Mizuka finally exited the cafe, finally... not soon enough, he thought to himself as they opened the front door and braved the bitter cold. He enjoyed the food thoroughly, but the scene just wasn't really his style, he felt out of place the entire time. Somehow the comfort put him on edge rather than at ease. As they walked, they talked, mostly about how they had similar backgrounds in frigid environments and thusly were immensly resistant to such weather. Though, out of no where they were surprised. Shinichi reacted to surprises how he always did, "Yang: Shuurai," he said softly. He dashed forward in a blitz, spun around and planted a stern kick in the center of the small assailant. This sent the boy flying back, interrupting him in the midst of calling himself a ghost. Shinichi proceeded to analyze whoever it was that jumped down at him, as he recognized an old face from an old crowd. "You are unbelievably lucky that my gear is getting repaired, or that metal tabi to the stomach could have been a metal blade. Your defenses were down too, get up."

Mizuka was becoming increasingly intrigued in Shinichi because he continued to impress the woman. A tolerance to cold as well! That's just perfect my new found friend, considered Mizuka as she continued to walk alongside the man. Before the woman knew it some freak had leapt out in front of the duo. This is part of the reason why I never come here, thought Mizuka as a reminder. Shinichi made quick work of the person holding a decapitated head, but this sent the head flying off into the distance somewhere. Shinichi seemed to recognize the pipsqueak of a person and spoke to him like a mentor of sorts. Mizuka could not even get a single word out before there was a loud shriek in the distance. The decapitated head being held by the small boy was launched into some woman's hands. Like any normal person, she absolutely lost it and began screaming her mouth off. Mizuka immediately began channeling a large amount of her chakra into the surrounding snow storm and used Yūdaina Fubuki. This jutsu intensified the already ongoing storm into a full-on blizzard. "We need to leave now," claimed Mizuka as she formed the snake hand seal. The florist placed her a hand on both Shinichi and the small boy using Doton: Kaijuugan no Jutsu. "You two should be light enough to fly now, flee over the wall I will be right behind you," called out Mizuka in the snow storm. Mizuka formed the snake hand seal again, and placed her hand on herself this time using Doton: Kaijuugan no Jutsu again. Following this, the woman weaved the bird, dog, and dragon hand seals together using Kusaton: Takamura. The area surrounding the trio sprouted thick bamboo everywhere, and she took of the ground beginning to fly away.

A large spat of blood launched from the boy's mouth when Shinichi hit him. Not only did this get in the way of Kazuha saying anything, but also the oncoming screams from behind. The boy looked into his hands, where the fuck did that head go, he considered angrily. Shinichi's lady seemed to overreact considering it was just a head, but Kazuha has happy to feel his whole body lighten. Snow and bamboo, pondered the boy as he lifted up his sweater some. He summon three ceramic masks from his stomach using, Kuchyose: Raikou Kenka and distributed them accordingly. Shinichi got the dog mask, Shinichi's lady friend got the chameleon mask, and Kazuha donned a plum cat mask of his own desire. The gift of flight was immediate allowing the boy to soar directly over the wall of Tenkaigakure. He flew into the surrounding forest looking behind him. "Who is this random lady that saved us," called out Kazuha while flying through the air.

208# ♦ Shinichi no Kotonashi

Shinichi's frown turned into an intense grimace as the events unfurled as they did. I am gonna kill both of these blumbering oafs and start again, clearly subtly comes to them about as easily as a KIDNEY STONE. Whatever, I suppose we'll be spending yet another night sleeping in the forest, at least we got a good meal out of our visit. Though he was ready to leave, he groaned slightly in discomfort in response to the lightlessness that was granted by Mizuka. "As a warrior, I prefer to have my footing, thank you," Shinichi stated simply as he donned the black dog mask he was given by Kazuha and preformed Kaze Sochi and ran through the sky. He used this to pass his allies, reaching the outskirts of town before they did, though he continued to wait for them. As they landed, he decided to take a moment to introduce his new allies to one another. "Kazuha, this is Mizuka. She's the newest member of my organization Manjushage, a talented shinobi and skilled assassin, specializing in poisons. And Mizuka, this is Kazuha, an old face from my original guild and Manjushage's patron organization, he is an assassin child prodigy, emphasis on child, specializing in speed and stealth."

The trio fled from Tenkaigakure just as quickly as they had arrived there. They moved with great speeds into the village hidden in the star's surrounding forests. Mizuka was glad to hear the boy say that she saved them, but the sound of his voice still annoyed the woman. After making enough distance between them and Tenkaigakure the trio stopped. Shinichi promptly introduced Mizuka to Kazuha, and vice-vers; the woman bowed before the boy out of courtesy. "It's a pleasure to meet you Kazuha," added Mizuka as her body rose back up from a bow. Her eyes trailed along the outline of the boy's hair. It carried a similar shade to Shinichi's, and both of them had quite the stark looking head of hair. These two are of unique origin, ruminated Mizuka as she rubbed at her chin. "We should keep moving, Tenkaigakure shinobi can be relentless. I would bet some are on our tail now. Plus with all of those dojutsu it will be hard to get away," announced Mizuka with her hands on her hips.

Kazuha was disappointed that Shinichi managed to be faster than both himself and Mizuka. Grown ass man, always beating us kids, mischievously pondered the boy as he straightened out his hoodie. Mizuka gave the boy a bow before introducing herself, and Kazuha looked down at her with an odd look. So formal, yet she doesn't seem like she was raised on manners, ruminated Kazuha before he replied. "Something about you specializing in poison doesn't sit right with me. After what I just saw, there is most definitely more to you than poison," muttered the boy with curiosity in his voice. When Mizuka mentioned that the trio should keep moving there was a large booming voice that spoke over her. "Turn yourselves in now, and we won't have to hurt you," called out a large bottomless voice from the distance. Kazuha activated his Hiramekugan and scanned the surrounding forest. "At 11 o'clock there are two, and at 1 o'clock there's another one," mentioned Kazuha as he used Kuchyose technique to summon a wakizashi in his hand.

"I DID say 'specialized in', didn't I? As in, that's where here expertise lies, but unlike you, she is multifaceted?" Shinichi hissed at the young idiot, but before he could deliver a just punishment to Kazuha like kicking his ass, the group of three was being rushed by another. As the tenkaigakure shinobi yelled out to them, Shinichi frown only deepened in definition. The white haired man listened to the white haired boy give out their specific locations and immediately formated an attack strategy; "much too late for that Mizuka; Kazuha, you and I will attack from the left side and eliminate the two shinobi. These shinobi will be skilled, but that's not excuse, the key word is speed. As soon as we're finished, we'll proceed to assist Mizuka if she requires it with the solo shinobi, who would be, if I had to make a shot in the dark, the superior of the three. With Mizuka's skill in ninjutsu, she can handle herself with a powerhouse and quickly, and if she needs it we'll be there in a jiff. Now, break." With that, Shinichi was off. He once again utilized Kaze Sochi to gain an advantage in altitude above their targets, running just at the top of the tree line. As he ran, he soon found himself standing above the two on that had been on their left, he released his jutsu and plummeted from the sky at a high speed, descending onto the unwitting tenkaigakure ninja. Aori was used to both soften his blow and press down upon the shinobi on one of the two targets. He pushed him down as he landed on top of him, hearing a few crunches as he rolled off. He didn't really feel much pain, must not have been his bones breaking. His opponent began to scream, but Shinichi didn't give him the time of day, as he promptly slit his throat utilizing Kirate.

Tenkaigakure shinobi had already caught up with the trio, but Kazuha was quick to call out their locations. He seems useful enough, considered the woman as she peered forwards into the darkness. Both Shinichi and Kazuha had dashed off after two of the ninja while Mizuka was left standing on the cold forest floor. Her boots dug into the dirt preparing for the worst; the woman's eyes caught a swift movement to her right. There was a large woman closing in on Mizuka, but the nukennin was quick to step back using Zanzou: Dou. Her steps were creating afterimages making it hard to track her actual location. The large woman screamed out, "cha," before smashing her fist into the ground; she was aiming for one of Mizuka's afterimages. The forest floor shattered and the large woman was left open for a moment, so the nukennin formed the rat hand seal and used Hyōton: Touketsu Fuyou Yaiba. She stopped retreating backwards and three swords made of ice formed from the air surrounding Mizuka; continually, all three of the blades stabbed down on the woman's attacker. Two of the ice blades stabbed through each of the large woman's arms while the third blade was rammed clean through her throat.

Before Shinichi could finish announcing his plan Kazuha was off with a blast; his wakizashi trailed behind him ready for the incoming shinobi. Shinichi was quick, when Kazuha approached the two ninja on his left Manjushage's leader was dropping on one of them. The boy immediately used Raiton: Kangekiha on the hand holding his wakizashi and extended the electrical current through the blade. The remaining shinobi threw two kunai at Kazuha which were easily dodged by the boy who ducked under them. Following this, while still lowered the young nukennin slashed clean through the shinobi's torso with his wakizashi. The raiton jutsu allowed for a clean swipe but Kazuha also made sure to use plenty of his strength. The man's torso toppled over while his lower half fell clean down; in addition, Kazuha swifly reached for one of his lychee candies and left it on the man's corpse. The boy grabbed two other lychee hard candies and first ran over to the shinobi Shinichi killed, and with a vexatious look on his face dropped a hard candy Shinichi's kill. Kazuha did the same for the ninja skewered with ice swords. After being ambushed the boy was ready to get far away from Tenkaigakure; he looked back at both Shinichi and Mizuka. His hands were snug in his pockets while he spoke, "Let's camp in the mountains or something."

Shinichi went back to where he and Kazuha had left Mizuka to regroup, soon after the little assassin reached the other two and they departed swiftly. "Kazuha, you're not one to make orders, I could still cut your achille's tendon and leave you to take the blame for this mess you've caused. I'll let you stay for now, but do not command me." Shinichi said firmly, though he did acquise that the other member of Koroshiya was not incorrect in his planning. "Though, I agree. Let's go to the mountains to rest and then we will continue to search for other members and missions. Manjushage is just getting started, I have a lot in my mind. When I am done, we will all be the best versions of ourselves!" Shinichi hurried forward, travelling using Yokokaze ever slightly over the ground as to not leave any footprints to lead would-be assailants.

After regrouping Mizuka was relieved that everyone was successful in their endeavors. The woman had seen first hand the destruction of Tenkaigakure shinobi. Kazuha walked up incredibly casually claiming they should flee into the mountains. After a brief exchange between both Shinichi and Kazuha, the group's leader actually agreed with the brat. Shinichi was quick to flee the scene without producing any sort of tracks. In her lightened state, Mizuka slowly rose of the ground and began flying behind the white-haired man. Soaring through Tenkaigakure's forests was somewhat difficult due to the numerous tree branches pointing in every direction. Because of this, the floating woman flew above a majority of the dying trees.
