The First Time Ever!

Itsuki was just waking up from a terrifying nightmare about some obnoxious kid named Naruto with some ridiculous ability called "talk no jutsu", and the edgiest lord of edge a dark haired red eyed boy named Sasuke with the power to turn everything into something to cry about. Luckily, that was all just a nightmare, and he had returned to his completely normal, average, totally real life. He rubbed his eyes as he rolled out of bed, slipping his orange slippers on, and began his morning routine. He started by getting dressed, today he wore a black tank top with baggy white jump suit pants, and his aforementioned orange slippers. After dressing, he made himself a bowl of cereal, mostly his sugary cereal with a bit of milk.

Itsuki continued to rub his dark eyes as he shoveled spoonful after spoonful of his fruit-flavored sugary cereal. He was alone in his house, and at age 13 there wasn't much for a kid to do when he was left to his own devices. It's way too early for Takeo to be awake anyway, Itsuki thought to himself. However, he noticed something different in the house, as his senses were returned to him through waking up. It smelled, strongly, of something that was familiar to Itsuki but he had no clue what it was. Well... since I'm here alone, I guess the only thing there is to do is hunt down this smell! and so the young Itsuki set off on his quest to find the familiar yet mysterious smell that haunted his home!

He began to trace the scent, sniffing the air in a way that probably made him look like a dog, but it was very effective. Optimal. Itsuki quickly made his way from the dinning room table to the back porch door, where the smell was the strongest. I wonder what this is... he thought to himself, as he opened the door, and that was when the smell really hit him, oh shit! After this, Itsuki was absolutely sure that the source of the smell was somewhere nearby! With this new boost in his confidence, due to his quest being much easier than he anticipated, Itsuki was eagerly searching through his back porch for any hints!

Itsuki was looking everywhere. He checked the plants on the back porch, just in case it was their pollination season or something and he was allergic, he looked around out back to see anything suspicious, and everything in between. However, the mentally slow due to sleep weariness Itsuki realized he could just use his nose like he had earlier, and once he did so he allocated his target quickly. "Gotcha!" he exclaimed as he lifted the book that someone had left over the source of the smell... to cover it? he thought to himself, it's not doing a very good job of keeping the smell in... I hope that wasn't their goal, haha, that'd just be sad. After Itsuki lifted the magazine, his eyes laid directly upon the source of the smell, he was absolutely sure of it.

Itsuki eyed a jar filled nearly to the brim with some forest green fluffy-ish looking plant with a few shades of purple in it. What the fuck is that? he thought to himself. Quickly, Itsuki picked up the jar and examined it. Well... I guess I should... leave it alone...? Itsuki thought as he put the jar back down and began to walk away. Wait... no? he thought to himself as he quickly turned back around and stole just enough that he didn't think that anyone would notice, and put everything in the same way that it was when he entered. He took a few pebbles worth of this odd plant and headed out the door, after changing into purple tabi. I need to show this to someone who knows a lot, but I can trust as well... hm... Tatsumi! Yeah, Tatsumi is my best bet, time to head out then I suppose! he thought as he continued on his new path, to find out whatever this was!

Itsuki meandered through the slum-like area of Tenkaigakure, where his friend, Tatsumi, resided. Tatsumi was two years older than Itsuki, and was already a Chuunin, although he was known to be a bit of a slacker. Itsuki always thought he was really cool, as whenever he needed advice on something that he'd get in trouble for asking other people about he could easily talk to Tatsumi. And that was exactly why he was here today. He knocked on the door to be faced with Tatsumi's father, who was a chef, not a shinobi. He was dressed in his uniform, so he was obviously leaving for work. "Ah! Hey Itsuki! Tatsumi's in his bedroom, so you can go ahead in. He's the only one home, the old lady is out with her sister and I'm heading off to work! It was nice to see you, see you later!" Itsuki said hello and goodbye and then headed on inside, into Tatsumi's room. "Hey bro!" he said immediately as he opened the door to see Itsuki.

Itsuki immediately noticed that Tatsumi's bedroom was messy, there was a bunch of food inside, and... it smelled the same as he had smelled back at home! "Hey, what's that smell?!" Tatsumi got noticeably defensive as he responded, quickly, "um... I don't know what you're talking about!" he said loudly, looking around. "Um... are you trying to see if your parents are home? They're not..? Why does it matter anyway?" "oh thank god, you scared the fuck out of me, Itsuki! Here, come in." he said motioning for Itsuki to enter, which he did. He sat in a beanbag chair as Tatsumi sat on the corner of the bed, they faced each other and spoke. "Anyway, what is that smell?!? My house has been smelling like that all morning! I figured out what it was, but I don't know why it smells so strongly?! Here, I brought some of it to see if you'd know what it was??" Itsuki retrieved and displayed his loot to Tatsumi, who's face lit up. "Oh hell yeah!" he exclaimed!

Tatsumi's expression confused Itsuki even more, so this weird smelling... plant? I think? Is something to get excited about? Why? he thought to himself. Which prompted him to ask, "I don't get it Tatsumi, what is so cool about this... stuff?" Tatsumi responded, "sometimes I forget you're still young, Itsuki. This 'stuff' is called 'weed'. It's a plant that you... well... I'll show you." Tatsumi grabbed the weed and placed it on a tray in front of him, then he grabbed this contraption that kind of looked like a beaker or a vase and placed that next to him as well. He picked apart the weed and placed it in this one part of the glass object that looked as if it were meant for that, except there was a hole in the middle that looked counter-productive. After packing it all into it's, apparently, designated location, Tatsumi pointed out his finger and a small flame ignited at the tip. "Katon comes in handy, sometimes, haha. Alright, well this is your stuff, just because you're new doesn't mean I'm gonna chief the first hit from you, that'd be smoked. Plus, it's your first time, so you're in for a great moment of your history, I'm glad I'm here to share this moment with you! Here, take this and put the large opening to your mouth, and just breathe in, I'll do the rest of the work." Itsuki did as was described for him as he was handed the instrument, and Tatsumi ignited the weed...

Itsuki's lungs were immediately filled with one of the most painful sensations he'd ever felt as he breathed in the smoke after Tatsumi burned some of the weed that was in the vase like tool. He started coughing, gripped the tool tightly and trying to force it back into Tatsumi's hands, who was now laughing hysterically at Itsuki. "Fuck, what the fuck was that?! That did NOT feel like anything good for me." Itsuki said, after he took a giant swig of water that Tatsumi had on the table. "Hey, I said it was a great moment in history, not a pleasant one, haha. After a few minutes, though, you're gonna fee greatttt." Itsuki got kind of uncomfortable after he said this, um, I hope I don't die. This would be a lame way to die, he thought to himself. Tatsumi took another hit, and so did Itsuki, they were back and fourth like this for a little bit until Itsuki started feeling really funny.

After this, Itsuki began more than feeling funny, he started acting pretty funny too. He and Tatsumi laughed over really dumb things, ate a bunch of the food in the pantry, and ended up passing out for a few hours on the couch. After this, Itsuki thanked Tatsumi for opening his eyes up to weed. He then walked home, still a bit high, ate some more, and then fell asleep again. From today on, Itsuki would enjoy weed and remember the first time ever! Thread over
