Arashiryugakure
[PTabbedContent][PTab=Village Description]
Core Belief: Honor
Funds: 両13,430,000
Arashiryugakure began as a northern exodus by sword-wielding, spiritually incapable ninja who were determined to hone their skills with people likened to a samurai rather than a ninja. They praise physical arts, honor and glory in comparison to excessive knowledge or ninjutsu and genjutsu 'tricks.'
The village is located atop a snowy mountain summit in Kaminari no Kuni. Its buildings are stout and heavy, unlike the lovely paper walls of the south and lower altitude buildings. Thick boards of wood caulked with tar and glue, held together with heavy nails and broad support beams. The Raikage palace is lofty, quiet, and filled with objects of mediation. The village surrounds the citadel of the territory the Raikage owns. The village resembles Edo period japan, print artist are highly regarded, samurai prowl the streets as guards, tattoos are seen as criminal yet heroic, and everyone and their mother wears a kimono.
Ten years ago, Arashiryugakure experienced a political coup, the event is common knowledge. The village just went through a revolution of it's political system, creating a multi-part democracy with two elected officials; a militaristic and diplomatic Raikage respectively.
