Requirements: Thrusting sword
Allowing for fast reactions, and with a long reach, the rapier style was well suited to military combat. As military-style cutting and thrusting swords continued to evolve to meet needs on the battlefield, so did the rapier style continues to evolve, eventually becoming easier to learn and practice. A user of Rapier style will raise their sword just above their chest, place their free hand behind their back, and bend their knees.
The user can dodge while attacking using this style.

Iaido Style is the smooth and connected movements of the Katana. Each strike is accurate and true in strength. The user will often quickly switch their sword through four different positions looking for a weak point in their opponents defence. The quick movement of the blade also helps to set the momentum of their strike while keeping their own defence in check.
The user can block attacks while attacking.
Name: Claymore Style - Ō Ken Sentaku (大剣 選択)
Classification: Taijutsu (Kenjustsu)
Type: Offensive

Requirements: A large and heavy sword.
In Claymore style, the user will raise their sword to a level stance and use their momentum to swing the sword towards their intended target. The claymore is not meant for prolonged combat, but a quick kill. The claymore style can penetrate heavy armor. A single claymore swing will usually penetrate most defenses of an enemy.
The user is more prone to breaking through armor and defenses.
Name: Paw Claw - Ashi No Tsume ( 足の爪)
Classification: Taijutsu (Kenjutsu)
Type: Offensive

Requirements: A Curved sword
Although in using the Paw claw you are unable to stab, all slashing is quick and violent. The user will raise their blade above their head facing away from them and swing quickly in circles like a storm. The main goal of this technique is to increase the speed of the users attacks increasing the opponent's requirement of response time.
The user is able to deflect/parry and counterattack.
Name: Irish spear style - Irish Yari Sentaku (槍選択)
Classification: Taijutsu (Kenjutsu)
Type: Offensive
Range: --
Hand seals: --
Requirements: A spear, naginata, or yari
The Iris spear style uses primarily stabbing techniques. True kill shots would be to the face, the throat and groin. Against enemies with shields, often only the top of the head and shins are exposed. The goal of this style is to allow the user of the spear to drop most defence and go for quick one shot kills.
The user can strike past shields within reason.
The user can block attacks while attacking.
