It was somewhat gloomy outside. The trees were whipping slightly and you could smell pine all along the way. Kijo was calmly talking a walk down a trail in his home of Ryugakure. He was never too fond of his home but that was ok. There were dogs walking around in the woods, birds chirping slightly and leaves falling everywhere. Today seems almost too peaceful... I don't like this at all. Kijo would continue to walk the trails in his village and would eventually go towards the town center. He decided to pick up some Kobe Beef and Sukiyaki. Kijo also carried around a book about the meaning of nature and life and started to read as his food was being made. He proceeded to sit down and wait.

Pacing herself Miyoko stepped forwards spinning to the left, Utamuro slid along Miyoko's bo staff. Launching her bo staff forwards Utamuro quickly slid along her staff reaching for the training dummy. As the genin's staff collided with the practice dummy before her Utamuro constricted around the dummy biting at it. With a singular swift motion, Miyoko pulled her weapon away and Uta returned to his cozy spot beneath the girl's sleeve.

The steam was rising from the pots of food. The vegetables, beef, and rice were all cooking at an extremely hot temperature. The steam was hitting Kijo's face and a drop of sweat even fell from his face. The food was definitely going to be delicious though. Kijo didn't give it much thought though, he wasn't the type to react to other little things. At last the food would come out hot and ready. With a simple snap, Kijo separated his chopsticks and bowed. Afterward, he dug in starting with the Kobe Beef and then went on to the Sukiyaki. Kijo could hear the bustling streets filled with the sound of people chattering, carts moving, people fighting and etc. The town center seemed incredibly busy today.

Before Miyoko lied a rough dirt road, Ryugakure was a nice place but still underdeveloped in some areas. Moving lethargically up the road Miyoko paced her breathing attempting to recover from her training session. She could feel her arms pulsing and her legs felt achy. The young girl for sure worked out her body, but she didn't focus much on practicing the jutsu she knew.
Miyoko found herself to be quite adept at understanding and learning new jutsu, yet when it came to the physical aspects of combat she felt more was to be desired. She was well trained with the bo staff but she thought her hand-to-hand combat skills were "lacking". In all actuality Miyoko was a fine kunoichi moving at a perfectly practical pace yet her insecurities caused her to over analyze herself.
The genin saw herself as someone who could always improve and she strived to perfect herself. Whether or not this quality would aid her down the line or not was something Miyoko also thought about frequently. Lost in thought Miyoko wandered for awhile until she felt something tugging at her sleeve. Uta had coiled himself up along Miyoko's wrist placing himself in her palm. Utamuro caught Miyoko's attention leading her to regain focus. Looking around she had found herself farther up the dirt road nearing a fork. One part of the road took her to the slums and the other lead deeper into the city. Checking her wallet Miyoko searched for any amount of ryo, pulling together a few coins the girl decided she'd go shopping.

Kijo continued to scarf down his food and made sure to finish it all simply out of respect of the chef. After eating he gave another bow and left his ryo on the table. He then went down the road with his katana on his side and kept his head down as he walked through the town center. Little kids were running past him, adults were drinking and laughing and elders were simply laughing while watching everyone. There was a slight breeze as Kijo walked. He was very satisfied and ready to go train some. He continued to walk forward towards the exit of the village to go to his training spot. Kijo was going to practice his skills with his katana and also sharpen the katana while he's out there. But before he left, he decided to stop by a fruit stand and pick up some groceries for later. Afterward, he then walked towards the village exit and left the village center.

As Miyoko neared the town center she passed the few stands lining the way ahead of her. Most the stands were run by older families who sold small things such as jewelry, trinkets and baubles, or even fruit. Typically the stands were pretty dead because most people would buy their things in the town square, but today a lone teen stood at one of them. The girl recognized the boy, his name was "Kijo".
From what she had heard he was a joke, no real strength to him. Realizing she was awkwardly stopped staring at him she snapped back into focus. Most of the genin still had to be sorted into teams and Miyoko had heard a few times that she'd be put on a team with Kijo. She laughed at the thought because he clearly didn't have anything on the girl and pairing them together would be odd.
Continuing forwards Miyoko pushed deeper into the heart of the city, reaching the markets she sought out her favorite shop. A bright sign lit up above her "Ryugakure's Finest Literature," quickly pulling at the doors the young girl entered the bookstore with much excitement.

Kijo was very set out on his path to going to train. On the way there he picked up his head for a slight instant to see a girl by the name of "Miyoko" staring right at him. Kijo was slightly startled at first but then just slightly looked at her and grinned. He continued to walk straight and read his book. He wasn't much for talking and he knew that he would have to go finish his training. Maybe he would come back and visit the town again for some nice reads or look at some katanas'. Throughout the trip their the sun slowly started to rise up in the sky. It was starting to become a little sunny for a change. I wonder what that girl was doing staring at me.. She seemed to be thinking about something. But I guess I shouldn't worry too much about that now.

Peering through each aisle Miyoko eagerly darted towards her favorite section. Heading towards the back of the store Miyoko found herself standing amiss an aisle lined with ninja scrolls and old dusty books. Miyoko's favorite section was "The History of Ninjutsu", sitting down on the ground Miyoko grabbed at multiple books. The History of Ninjutsu allowed her to learn and understand new things about ninjutsu.
Miyoko was very fond of grasping at all tools that lied within her reach, she would scour the books for mentions of ancient and forbidden jutsu, only to occasionally find it mentioned. Miyoko strived for great amounts of power and strength.
It had been roughly and hour and Miyoko had found herself lost in her reading, looking up from her current book she took a deep breath. I should really get going... Picking up the multitude of scrolls and books around her Miyoko placed them all back where they belonged. Exiting the bookstore Miyoko was surprised that the weather had changed so drastically, it was downpouring outside. Quickly darting through the rain Miyoko headed home for the day.
-Miyoko has left the thread-
