Recap: The plot unfolds. Team two gets a new member?

Tsukishima sat on the same bench that the group first met at.  They had agreed previously to meet together here, along with a new genin that just joined their troop.

It was a temperate day.  Polarizing compared to the last time they were here when it was raining heavily.  There last mission showed the group that there was a terrible plot going on within the underbelly of the city, it was information that a group of genin like them had no right possessing.  What were they supposed to do?  That's why they're gathering here today.

The wind blew tsukishima's bangs across his face.  Luckily he was wearing his windbreaker which kept the windchill from ruining this nice day.

I hope they show up soon, this information has been eating me up inside and its been awhile since I've spend casual time with.  We reported what happened in the mission file, but what if HQ doesn't listen to us because were just genin?

The sun was beating down on Kijo's face as he steadily walked towards the designated area that everyone agreed to meet back at a short moments later. As he walked to the destination, Kijo sipped on a dark black coffee to help fill his appetite just a tiny bit. As he walked a slight breeze started to pick up and Kijo just eyed the path that he was walking and simply observed all of the life around him. After the fight, Kijo didn't really give much thought to there being underground corruption in the village. He simply looked at it as more training and money to earn. Of course, he knew the information they had yesterday was important but didn't want to really act upon it. Kijo eventually started to stroll up towards the area where the rest of Team Two was supposed to meet. The sun glared over Kijo's eyes and suddenly he saw Tsukishima sitting on a bench looking as if he was contemplating something. I wonder what he is thinking about.. Eventually, Kijo was next to Tsukishima and decided to walk up and give a nice "Hello." Afterward, he sat down next to Tsukishima and said: "Shall we wait for the other before we discuss the events of yesterday?"

    Strolling down a cross street Miyoko contemplated flaking. The information they trio had received was highly dangerous and could put them in true peril. Yet there was a part of the girl that ached for danger as she hoped for power. Her mind rattled as to what she should do.... While she knew the dangers she had faith in the abilities of her friends. Kijo and Tsukishima were capable; moreover, they were two ninja Miyoko compared herself to. It was odd that she felt so connected to two of the genin from her graduating class. She never saw devotion within her graduating class, but clearly others shared her intentions. With her sights on possible danger Miyoko knew she could achieve Chuunin rank soon. Two more streets over sat the bench, a meeting point of possibly collusion and treachery. Will the others be willing to fight for the village.... Miyoko's mind raced but she edged closer to the street. Approaching from behind the young genin lept forth landing behind the two. "Sorry if I'm late," said the girl. Miyoko staggered for a moment shifting her weight. Leaning forwards she pressed her hand up against the back of the bench.

Yoshi kept his normal demeanor today, but no matter how he tried to play it off he couldn't deny it to himself that he was a bit anxious or excited, he wasn't sure which, probably both. He had woken up hours before his normal time, and way before the time that the 4 Genin were supposed to meet up. He was ready way ahead of time, and spent his extra time meditating next to a slowly running creek. Eventually, the time came, and Yoshi walked himself to the location he was told he would meet his new comrades. He saw the 3 of them who were already acquainted interacting, and he decided that he didn't intend to be left behind! "Nice to meet you, my name is Yoshi Haruka!

[Sakuga]

The wind continued to blow gently on the ninjas faces.  It was probably about ten in the morning at this point.  Tsuki' brushed off his cloths adjusted his satchel and stood up before facing the group.  He looked at the new genin.  He immediately thought about how he was a bit younger than the rest of the group, but had no bias against him for his age.  "Welcome Yoshi-kun, I'm Tsukishima, the girl is Miyoko, and the one carrying the katana is Kijo. This is team two.  On our last mission we found out that there was a secret plot to over-throw the Kage.  This plot must be stopped at all cost.  We did all we could by reporting what we saw during the battle that coincided in that alley but... we haven't been informed further about the administrations next move.  It's realistic to assume that the Kage and his subordinates are moving to deal with this on their own, but we should keep an eye out for anything suspicious."

Tsukishima's eye flashes orange in this moment of precision and leadership.  "I think a good next move would be to train as a group and come up with a team combo."

[Koru]

As time past, Kijo watched as Miyoko and a kid by the name of Yoshi had arrived at the designated area. The wind continued to blow quite hard and Kijo watched as Tsukishima started to talk about the events of yesterday. He listened quite attentively to what he had to say. After he was finished talking,  Kijo said "I agree with Tsukishima; we need to stay on our guard as much as possible and try to look out for anything suspicious if we can. Also, a team combo would be a good idea, but what do you guys have in mind?" Kijo would then go to contemplate ideas of potential team moves and also unsheathe his katana and start to sharpen it with a whetstone that he had taken from a blacksmith shop earlier. The blade shimmered and screeched as the whetstone hit the curvature of the blade and you could watch it become sharper right in front of his very eyes. Hopefully, the combo involves using this and potentially I could even get a good meal after this....

    Miyoko had been informed that the trio would receive a new teammate, but she wasn't sure who it would be. Yet within moments a younger genin would approach stating his name is Yoshi. Miyoko sized him up picking out his notable features that being a seemingly relaxed stance and purposefully placed sunglasses. Before Miyoko could even speak up Tsukishima took it upon himself to introduce the group. Removing her hair from her face Miyoko bowed towards Yoshi exclaiming, "as Tsukishima said I am Miyoko, that being Onohara Miyoko." Raising her upper half erect Miyoko continued to listen as Tsukishima spoke. Her mind wandered as he spoke of a team combo, this was something she had contemplated before. Stepping forwards ever so slightly she said, "well if we're going to form a team combo we need to see some of Yoshi's jutsu."

Yoshi smiled as everyone was introduced and bowed to them. Then, as the shinobi named Tsukishima unveiled so much information, Yoshi started to get flooded with a deluge to confusing and distracting thoughts and questions. However, he began to regain focus quickly whenever the girl known as Miyoko stated that they needed to see Yoshi's jutsu. "That sounds like a cool idea! We should go somewhere we won't bother anybody, that'd be embarrassing," Yoshi scratched the back of his head and chuckled, "do you guys have any idea of where we could go?"

[Sakuga]

Tsuki noted the idea that they should see what yoshi was capable off before thinking of a combo and zoned out for a moment as he pondered a location for them to practice.  Hmm, around this time of day the house is empty we could use the dojo in my home. 

"Alright then, I'll take you three to my families dojo and we'll see what you have up your sleeve Yoshi. Sound like a plan?"

Tsukishima's family dojo was not far from this location and was in an extravagant home made from dark, hand carved woods and classic Ryugakure design.  He disliked the idea of bringing other people into his home for the risk of his family members perpetuating the idea of samurai hood through companionship but it was a safe and comfortable place where the ninja could figure these things out efficiently.

"If you cannot proceed do as you wish but otherwise follow me and we'll be on our way."

The group traveled along the homey stone streets lined with cherry blossoms that lead to Tsukishima's home.  The pink petals formed a thin and spotty blanket over the roads.  The architecture and general aesthetic of the homes along the way were truly peaceful and stoic.  Eventually the group came across a bridge that marked one of the more isolated parts of the journey.

At the end of the bridge was Tsukshima's home and through the front door the open air dojo was found.

As the other's chatted away at what they would do about getting a team combo together, Tsukishima offered that they go to his house and show off Yoshi's moves in his dojo. Kijo didn't really mind the idea of this. Once they started to head that way, Kijo put away his whetstone and sheathed his sword and continued to stroll with the other genin towards Tsukishima's house. The tree's surrounding the roads were beautiful and wavy. Kijo thought to himself; This wouldn't be so bad living here with this tranquility. I could enjoy my coffee and practice my kenjutsu here. After Kijo pondered the thought of living and training here he noticed that they were approaching Tsukishima's house and was almost in awe. "You really have quite the place don't you Tsukishima?" Kijo then laughed and continued to walk with them towards the house and into the dojo. Out of respect Kijo took his shoes off and sat on his knees inside the dojo waiting for the rest of his companions to come into the dojo with him.

    Slowly drifting behind Miyoko followed Tsuki; consequently, the young genin kept quiet taking in the scent of numerous cherry blossom trees. The sweet smells encompassed her senses and she happily walked about. Ideas ran through her mind surrounding a perfected tactic between the trio. I could possibly set up an attack as long as I managed to trap the enemy in a crystal. Tsuki could easily follow up with taijutsu while Kijo could approach afterwards with his sword. We could even possibly finish it off with a centralized attack, and I could easily employ lightning wave inspiration. Peering up from her own thoughts Miyoko was met with beautiful home. Directly in the center of the Kanbe home sat a wonderfully constructed dojo.  With widened eyes Miyoko rushed to the center of the dojo searching in all directions. Spinning around she took a deep inhale and slowly exhaling as she came to a halt. Ryugakure truly was magnificent, and even the architecture filled Miyoko with determination.

Yoshi walked with the other 3 Genin and studied them, they seemed like an interesting lot. Miyoko and Tsukishima both seem alright enough, Kijo is fine too, I just haven't seen much of him, to be fair... he thought to himself. As they walked together, Yoshi considered his abilities and attempted to put together a quick strategy. By the time they reached Tsukishima's dojo, he had put it together. They entered the building and Yoshi removed his shoes. He then walked to the center of the practicing area, "so, am I having a sparring match or am I just showing you what I've got? He stood and got himself into a fighting stance, for he was already in position, whichever option they chose he'd still already be prepared.

Tsukishima absentmindedly removed his shoes and left them by the door. 

His companions were making themselves at home in the dojo and the group was finally getting ready to prepare their group combo attack. Tsukishima took off his jacket to reveal a white crew neck tucked into slacks. I want to get started, but I really have no idea what the new guy is capable of

Several training dummies line the walls and are able to be moved freely, some of which are full body and can be launched into the air for experimenting with taijutsu.  Many of the families weapons and armor also line the walls and are free for use in experimentation with new weapons.

"I suppose you should show us what you've got new guy, you know, before we start actually trying to do anything together.  If we skip that step we'd likely get confused as to where we all come together.  So feel free to demonstrate your abilities however you like."

Tsukishima sat at a small table in the corner of the dojo and prepared himself to take in his new team members abilities.  I see much potential in this one.  He might be young but talent appears in even the youngest of pupils.

In the corner there was a wooden miniature shogi set and a few other assorted party favors.

As the remaining ninja walked into the dojo, Kijo watched the others walk into the dojo and get situated. At this point, Kijo was still on his knees sitting on the floor of the dojo. The room was filled to the brim with weapons and armors of all sorts. This is quite the collection Tsukishima has here, I wonder how long it took for his family to acquire all of these. The swords and armor were glimmering and obviously well taken care of. This was surprising considering Koji hasn't met many people that actually take care of their equipment. In the corner of Kijo's eye though, he saw Tsukishima in a corner near a shogi board and other chairs. Kijo stood up and walked towards that corner where Tsukishima was and decided to take a seat in that corner as well. After sitting down he listened as Tsukishima asked Yoshi to show us what he had to offer us. Now, this is definitely going to be interesting.. Hopefully, this kid has some skill in him. With a slight whisper towards Tsukishima, "So what do you think this kid's strengths are? Do you think he has it in him to join our squad?".

    As always Miyoko had seemingly drifted to the sides, and she was standing alone awkwardly off in a corner. Acutely focusing in she listened in on the others. Yet she found herself confused as to what Yoshi was going to do; meanwhile, Miyoko was mockingly imitating Tsuki in her head. "I suppose you should show us what you've got new guy, you know, before we start actually trying to do anything together." Chuckling to herself the girl receded farther into her corner hoping Yoshi would end up fighting Tsuki. Calling out from her corner Miyoko spoke up, "Tsuki!" jogging forwards she approached Tsukishima, "Yoshi suggested sparring... It seems he's clearly comfortable with it as he brought it up first. Considering it's your dojo and you brought us here, why don't you spar Yoshi?" She looked over at Yoshi with a smile on her face, and even though she didn't know Yoshi very well she had faith in him to kick Tsuki's ass.
