The Gobi sat alone atop an active Volcano. The vent was open to the air and miles below the smoldering lava resided. This volcano had been actively erupting, dealing extreme damage to the surrounding area and environment, but Botan just liked it's warmth. Because of this, shinobi from Yamagakure came to investigate this disturbance in their land, however when they saw the the massive lava boar there was a grave misunderstanding. "The beast is destroying our land using it's lava powers!" one of the men called out. However, the simple beast was already ahead of them, resorting to anger immediately in the face of a threat. As the men were talking, Botan soared into the sky with a leap and utterly decimated everything beneath it as it landed. However, unbeknownst to the beast, reinforcements for the shinobi had seen the whole thing, as they ran back to Yamagakure to get the Tsuchikage's support on what they thought would be destroying an out of control monster!
