"WOO HOO! Obviously!" Itsuki yelled as his hands shot into the air. Luckily, the Hokage wasn't upset, haha he thought to himself as he walked out of the tournament arena as the crowd cheered, he was soaking it all up and loving it. "Yeah I'm the best!" he yelled one final time. Then, as he entered the room with Yume and Takeo, as Yume was about to leave, Itsuki and his beaming smug smile greeted his teammates. "You guys like that awesome new jutsu? Haha. Takeo, I bet that'll give you a run for your money, you too Yume! Oh, and good luck, haha."

    It was to Takeo's surprise that he saw Itsuki's opponent use such a strong jutsu. To think he would try and kill Itsuki, this is ridiculous. How is someone like this eve a jounin? As Takeo pondered to himself Itsuki went on the offensive knocking his opponent around. Yet he used a jutsu that Takeo had never seen before, one in which multiplied explosive tags. The chuunin immediately flipped to a distinct page in his playbook, one labeled Idou Itsuki. Takeo wrote the jutsu name for which Itsuki called out and gave a brief description of the technique. As he glanced back towards the fight his eyes were met with the Hokage in the thick of it. She concluded the fight announcing Itsuki as the winner. Next up was Yume and Takeo made sure to follow her down. As they met with Itsuki Takeo congratulated him, "I expected as much of you. You aren't the type to lose in the first fight." His gave shifted to Yume who he gave a slight smile speaking softly, "Good luck out there, don't forget me and Itsuki will be rooting you on from the sidelines."

Masayume was stunned by the intensity of the fight and the way that the ninja who Itsuki had fought really tried to kill him. How could someone like be one of our high ups? As the Hokage put an end to the fight, Takeo and Yume went down to meet their teammate. Great job Itsuki you were amazing! She said before receiving her own good luck and bye comments. Thank you guys, I'll try my best! With that Yume walked towards the stadium entrance. I have to give it my all so that I don't fall behind. With that thought she took her side of the arena and readied in battle stance.

Koori entered the tournament's battle arena, as he walked his head was high and his movements were stern and well planted. He looked like he was almost impossible to knock over. He stood slightly taller than average, wearing a warrior's chest plate with a golden dragon emblem eating it's own tail on the center and shoulders, metal arm and shin guards, and a kabuto helmet, with a large naginata on his back that he retrieved and held planted on the ground with one hand. "I am sorry I have to be your first opponent, but I cannot hold back for I am here to win, little girl! I will not try anything like that cowardly Naegi in that previous fight, blasted fool, but you shall experience defeat!" Koori yelled out to Masayume.

Masayume ignores what the man says to her and decides to go right in for the offensive. I cannot hold back. I want to be there with them. Activating her Byakugan and running towards the man, she jumps into the air halway, using Hakke Kuuhekishou by putting her two palm together and sending a powerful wave of chakra towards the man. I won't lose that easily! Even if you underestimate me, I'll show you my strength! Once she lands Yume plans to dash the rest of the way towards the man and use her Juuken in taijutsu combat.

Koori slowly raised his large naginata into the air. He positioned it and himself into a fighting stand, with his chest facing his right side, his left arm facing Masayume, and his right arm facing away, with his weapon trained on his target. As Masayume dashed at him, he shook his head, "impatient child," he thought to himself as he shook his head. When she jumped into the air and sent a wave of chakra flying, he preformed Koi Dou no Jutsu and Kinton no Yoroi and stood his ground. As the powerful wave of chakra struck Koori, he resisted it like he was a wall, completely letting it pass him with no visibly considerable damage. As she continued to dash his way, he dashed towards her as well, using his weapon as a charging tool and letting out a warrior's cry as he ran forward.

Yume was surprised to see that the man completely tanked her wall palm. He has strong defense, but my gentle fist will break it. As she gets ready to meet in the middle with the man Yume prepares to use Hira no Gensui, the defensive style of the technique. With this she will be able to redirect the blows from his weapon and deteriorate it. Even if I take a blow I can heal it., Yume thought as she was about to engage just before yelling out, I'll end this quick and show you who is impatient!

Koori withstood the girl's attack and pressed onward towards his combatant! Yume had a particular fighting style that he noted as her demeanor changed, it was eerily similar to a style he had faced before. He figured she'd be mostly redirecting attacks. 'I am very wise child, you will find I am quite the challenge!" He continued to charge. When they came into contact, Koori went for a straightforward piercing attack with his naginata, which was fast and accurate. Masayume still redirected it, though, as he expected. However, he did not expect her to start deteriorating his weapon, what the hell?! he thought to himself. However, he quickly adjusted, as he dropped his now damaged naginata to his foot and then kicked it at Yume as a distraction. Then he used a militaristic taijutsu fighting style that was rigid and firm go for a sturdy and powerful blunt forward board kick directly at Masayume's chest.

As Koori charges in intimidatingly, Masayume prepared to redirect his precise and swift spear attack. Succeeding fairly easily, she infused chakra into her palms of decay to deteriorate his weapon and increase efficiency, just as I expected, she thought to herself. As Koori launched his spear towards her chest, Yume was quite surprised. She used Hakkeshou Kaiten as an impulse reaction. This defensive jutsu helped protect her from both attacks. Masayume projected a moderate amount of chakra into her Byakugan Hijutsu, Eight Trigrams Palm Heavenly Spin. "Let's see your 'incredible' strength resist my incredibly powerful offense!" she yelled at her opponent as she expelled the blast of chakra.

As Yume assumed a position that he was more than accustomed to, the stance of the Byakugan's Heavenly Spin, Koori stomped his foot into the dirt and planted himself firmly. As she yelled out a competitive taunt to him, he retorted loudly by saying "yes, let's!" As she expelled her chakra, he concentrated his throughout his body. While doing this, he preformed Doton: Kajuugan no Jutsu on himself. This, combined with the previously applied jutsu greatly increased his strength and fortitude. He withstood Masayume's Hijutsu, with a struggle albeit, but he withstood it nonetheless. Now, with an opening before him, he reached out an grabbed his opponent, Yume. If she weren't already before him and not able to move very well he would never have been able to grapple her, the jutsu he applied to himself made his movement much too slow to do so at this point. Lucky him, though. After grabbing the girl with both hands, he reached his right hand back and dealt a quick, precise, and powerful uppercut into her stomach.

    Masayume's opponent was a man of large stature, one who seemed to be skilled in taijutsu at the very least. Takeo did his best to follow the man's movements, yet the chuunin's eyes couldn't move away from his large weapon. It was absolutely massive and would give even the bravest shinobi a second thought. Continually, Takeo made sure to keep his attention on Yume's approach. The two had fought alongside each other many times, and Takeo knew of her various fighting styles. She was a gentle girl that carried an awfully offensive arsenal. Yet as the fight waged on Takeo grew worrisome for Yume;moreover, commonly shared among the three of them was that of a short stamina. Takeo knew his own limits and how long he could keep up his Sharingan, so when seeming Yume's opponent press on Takeo shuddered. Luckily for him he managed to finish his fight fairly quickly, but Koori seemed like he wanted to at least make Yume waste her time. If I have to fight this guy I better take note of his jutsu. I didn't enter this tournament to win, but if anybody who treats Yume like this will get it from me. Takeo reminded himself, and his hand quickly moved to his playbook to note Koori's doton jutsu.

This thread is officially closed- what cannonically occurs after this point?

-Yume defeats her opponent, Koori.
-Itsuki and Yume battle it out, and Itsuki is ultimately the victor.
-Takeo defeats his next opponent, and then goes on to win the tournament in a heated battle between himself and Itsuki, the two would've kept going for at least another hour and a hospital visit, but the Hokage herself deemed that Takeo was the winner. His conviction was more potent from her perspective, and thus he was decided the winner.
