Akimoto is a rather emotional person and often feels misunderstood and out of step with the world. Fortunately for him, his emotional capacity allows him to have and sustain deep and meaningful relationships with fellow ninja. Akimoto values authenticity, empathy, and harmony. Akimoto always acts with the best of intentions and is very proud of this. He often feels isolated and discouraged when others don't share his idealism. Akimoto is curious about the depth of human nature and tries very hard to understand others. This makes him very capable of empathy. Also, he is able to speak in a way which is sensitive and moving. Akimoto is a creative type, always dreaming of a story, and seeking any type of self-expression he can find. By using his imagination this way, Akimoto explores the true nature of the world, but when he fails to act on his imagination he often feels frustrated or unfulfilled. Akimoto wants to help and uplift others, but needs to focus on one worthy subject at a time. Otherwise, he becomes so overwhelmed he just gives up entirely. Akimoto stands at exactly six feet tall. Ever since he joined Tenkaigakure's Chuunin squad, he started spending less time in the sun and more time under the moon. Therefore, his skin started to pale, and his hair started to get lighter. Akimoto wears a piercing in his right ear, as a symbol of his growth, and because its fashionable. His clothes, previously blue, are now black and he ditched the secondary pauldron, for a more edgy and appearance based one. Lug nuts sprout from his singular pauldron as a statement of his newfound interest in mechanics.

This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Basically, all ninja know this technique.

This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

This jutsu allows the user to transform either themselves or another object into the appearance of another person, animal, or object. The transformation technique is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on an inexperienced ninja. The transformation would be dispelled when the user is injured or hit.

After striking the ground with their hands, the user creates a large wall of earth in front of them. The defense is not perfect though since a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall. Also, since this technique only guards frontal attacks, the enemy can easily attack from the side or even from above.

This seal is one of three, the other two being Ten no Juin and Chi no Juin. Like the other two cursed seals, the user has a stage 1 and stage 2 of the cursed mark, and they get a boost to their power. This specific seal gives the user increased physical capabilities when the seal is active, and it consists of three jagged lines that resemble lightning bolts. When the first level is activated, the seal turns orange-red and expands in lines spreading all over the user's body in curling lines that look like black vines. When stage 2 is activated the user's skin, hair and eyes are very dark and they gain a spiked prehensile tail. Stage 1: Requires +4 Control and gives + 2 force and +1 speed, it only lasts as many posts as half of the user's total stamina and costs a lot of chakra. Stage 2: Requires +8 Control and gives +3 force, +2 speed and +1 accuracy, it lasts as many posts as half of the user's total stamina and after this the user will be nearly all drained, they also gain the prehensile tail that can be used for anything that a hand can do (ex, handseals, holding a weapon, etc.). The only person who can use this jutsu, Kamakiri Osuma, can quickly apply this seal by causing his worm to directly bite a defeated opponent, injecting the cursed seal beneath the skin, causing excruciating agony and death to anyone not strong enough to withstand the surge of chakra.

In Claymore style, the user will raise their sword to a level stance and use their momentum to swing the sword towards their intended target. The claymore is not meant for prolonged combat, but a quick kill. The claymore style can penetrate heavy armor. A single claymore swing will usually penetrate most defenses of an enemy.
The user is more prone to breaking through armor.

A technique where one follows the opponent, closely matching their body's movement, just like a leaf that dances in the air is followed by its shadow. This move by itself is harmless, but it is usable as a stepping stone for a great many powerful jutsu.

The Front Lotus requires the opening of the first of the Eight Chakra Gates. The user kicks their opponent into the air and then uses Shadow of the Dancing Leaf. Once behind their opponent, the user restrains them and pile-drives them into the ground head first while rotating at a ferocious speed. Due to the use of one of the Eight Gates, the user is left extremely fatigued, making this technique a "double-edged sword".

Comparable to a reverse Braver. The user dashes at their target and points their sword forward while jumping with all of their force into the air. Almost like an uppercut with their sword. The attack while simple, is both devastating to the target, and strenuous on the users legs. If pulled off properly this attack can catch opponents off guard, and put the user into an advantageous position.

Akimoto was born in the Shinra laboratories that were once hidden in the mountains of Kaminari no kuni. His mother and father were both Mercenary ninjas who used the laboratory's resources to obtain high paying contracts. The laboratory was dangerous and the medical-nin who worked there participated in experiments with many of the mercenaries who worked there. Akimoto's parents were taught forbidden techniques at the laboratory that they used in battle while they were still ninja, proceeding Akimoto's birth, they left the laboratory to escape the experimentation.
The duo of ninja left under the cover of night and traveled to Hi no Kuni where they knew there was a settlement that would invite them in. Tenkaigakure became their new home and together they settled peacefully. As mercenaries from the laboratory, Akimoto's parents still valued prowess in combat and enrolled Akimoto into the ninja academy. During Akimoto's training in Tenkaigakure he joined a powerful generation of ninja.
Akimoto was a star student. He impressed his teachers and his parents alike as he practiced with great grace and form. The school eventually promoted Akimoto to the title of Chuunin and he continued his journey out of childhood into young adulthood. He made quick friends with Takeo, and Itsuki. Two other star students who became his best friends. They introduced him to more recreational activities and took him along on their missions. After some training with the group, Akimoto served a roll as a taijutsu specialist.
