Inside this castle, in the daimyo's chambers, hidden within a puzzlebox, there is a single ancient coin. Retrieve this for your client. No one can die, and defenses are formidable.

Zutsumi🗲Kazuha

Kazuha had spent a large amount of time within the last month aimlessly moving towards Hi no Kuni. He had intended to locate an old friend of his, but was unexpectedly assigned a mission as of recently. It had been weeks since the boy took on any kind of mission, and he was easing back into the groove. Kazuha was assigned a mission in Kaze no Kuni, one of the teen's least favorite places to be. Kaze no Kuni was desolate but filled with wealth. Kazuha was supposed to infiltrate the large residence of a Daiymo. This would be the easy part, but having to kill no one and steal something would prove to be difficult. Kazuha had found his way on the back of a horse drawn cart being pulled through the desert. There were a few Daiymos that resided in Kaze no Kuni, and the one Kazuha was targeting lived near the border of Tsuchi no Kuni. In the back of the carriage Kazuha sat under a light tarp. This shielded the boy from the sun, but by the time he made it where he was going the sun would have set. "There's a village north of here near Tsuchi no Kuni, you can just drop me off there," The man driving the carriage simply grunted in response and the two continued into the desert.

Kazuha was surprised when he hopped off of the cart that it did not crumble apart. Geez, this is one of the worst routes I've taken, ruminated the boy as he scratched at his head. The border between Kaze no Kuni and Tsuchi no Kuni was fairly mountainous. This little town sat nestled at the foot of a sandstone mountain. The Daiymo's residence was nestled inside of the mountain high above the village. Of course, he lives literally above everyone else in this town, thought Kazuha as he pressed his hand to his stomach. A white snake mask flashed from a blood seal on the boy's stomach when he used, Kuchyose: Raikou Kenka. Kazuha held his white snake mask at his side and slowly walked through the village. The boy was equipped for the desert; he was wearing a scarf wrapped around his head only revealing his face. All of Kazuha's skin was covered except for his feet were partially uncovered due to wearing his plated tabi. The town was empty and desolate. Most people were inside at this time either sleeping or eating. The small child that is Kazuha moved through the village with ease approaching the mountain resting at the back of said village. With both his plated tabi and channeling chakra in his feet Kazuha began scaling the mountainside. Using his free hands the boy put his white snake mask on as he ran up the mountainside. The weather had completely shifted in temperature as the night set in.

As the boy reached farther up on the mountain he activated his Hiramekugan. He began crawling on the mountainside opposed to running. This allowed Kazuha to hide himself completely and be much more silent. The Diaymo's castle was partially exposed on the front, but his fortress also had natural windows around the mountain side. Using these holes in the mountain Kazuha could infiltrate the Diaymo's residence. The boy approached the front of the Amrud from below. Kazuha climbed along the side of the mountain moving past the front. He moved around the back of the mountain searching for a less populated entrance. Kazuha climbed around the mountain where he spotted a group of natural windows in the mountain. Didn't think anyone would bother climbing all the way up here, Kazuha mischievously thought to himself as he moved closer to the three holes. Each natural window was roughly three feet wide and two feet tall; continually, they only seemed to be spaced out a few inches from one another. Kazuha lowered his head into the window to see where it led. He could see a few partially nude men getting dressed deep into the room, but immediately near the window was what looked to be a large bath. Kazuha took advantage of the moment and dived through the window aiming for the bath. Before he plunged into the bathwater the boy used Suiton: Mizugakure no Jutsu which hid him within the water. The bathwater splashed out of the bath making a slight noise. This caused one of the partially naked, no fully clothed, men to come over and investigate. "Odd, something must've fallen in from this window here," he said as he waved his hand through the water. Soon after this he turned around and left the bathing rooms. Kazuha quickly moved out of the water and took a deep sigh. His Hiramekugan couldn't locate anyone near him, but he readied to find the Diaymo's room.

Kazuha quietly moved through the manor; continually, it seemed to be multi-leveled. The boy was creeping around room after room upstairs. The place seemed surprisingly empty. Only two of the five rooms he entered had people in them. Each room was similar to the last, and this floor seemed to house mostly people working in the castle. Kazuha peered out into a hallway searching for any sort of staircase. He snuck into the hallway and hid himself against the wall. The boy made sure no one was in the adjacent hallway and began searching down it. Kazuha neared the other end of the hallway and found a spiral staircase; he started moving up the staircase with his back against the wall. Kazuha began to hear voices as he moved up the staircase. His eyes peeked at two guards chatting at the door above him. He formed the ram hand sign with his hands and brought forth a small amount of chakra. Kazuha turned the air around the guards into a mist; after this, the nukennin quietly flipped up the stairs and slid between the guards. Kazuha stole around a corner and snuck into a room. There was someone else in the bathroom in this room, but the bedroom also had another exit.

There was a stench leaking from the bathroom near Kazuka that made him quickly exit the bedroom he was in. The nukennin bounded down a grand hallway that had a pair of double doors at the end of it. The hallway was empty, but Kazuha didn't know what was on the other side of the door. He deactivated his Hiramekugan and approached the double doors. Kazuha could hear muffled voices on the other side of the doors but couldn't make them out. The boy approached a small table near the door with a vase on it. With a smirk on his face the boy knocked the vase to the ground causing it to smash into pieces. Kazuha quickly scaled the tall walls and hid above the double doors. It only took a moment before two guards exited from the double doors to investigate the noise. As the double doors shut behind the two guards Kazuha struck. The masked nukennin jumped down on one activating his Hiramekugan. Kazuha struck a nerve ending in the man's neck that paralyzed him from the neck down; continually, he also struck him in the back of the head to knock him out. Before the man could collapse to the ground Kazuha drove on the back of the other guard. The boy struck this man in his head as well causing him to pass out.

The boy dragged both of the knocked out men behind the double doors. He placed their unconscious bodies next to one another in a corner. The double doors led to a small room that was only an entrance into a much grander room. The masked Kazuha pushed the next set of double doors open; continually, the large doors creaked as they were pushed open. The room behind two sets of double doors was large and round. In the center was a circular bed with a lone man sitting upon it. "You've come to kill me huh, my time ends here," questioned the old man as Kazuha entered his room. The boy scanned around the outside of the chamber looking for the puzzle box he was supposed to find. Kazuha waited before replying to create suspense. "I am not here to end your long life Daiymo. I simply want what's in that puzzle box of yours," claimed Kazuha as he moved closer to the Daiymo. The old man must've known Kazuha was after his coin and seemed to panic. He backed up on his bed putting his back against the wall, "you can have my life before you get that coin," muttered the old man.

Kazuha belted out a deep laugh and replied to the Diaymo with glee, "alrighty then, I'll just get it after you die." The boy removed a kunai from his left sleeve and crawled on the bed with the Diaymo. Kazuha stabbed his kunai through the old man's left hand and simultaneously covered the Diaymo's mouth. Behind the muffled screams of pain was a weak elderly man. "No one can hear you old man. I've endured torture since before I could walk, and you're going to experience that tonight," announced the nukennin as he removed the kunai from the old man's hand. The weak man struggled, but he couldn't pull away from Kazuha's grip. Using his Hiramekugan the boy scanned the Diaymo's nevrous system. "I'm going to strike a nerve ending in your neck, from here on out you will be paralyzed from the neck down," claimed Kazuha as he began to move the man's neck around. The boy pressed his finger to the man's nerve and applied a small amount of pressure. He then reared his hand back and readied to strike down on it. Before Kazuha could strike the man began giving in, "p-please stop, you can have the coin. Just please don't hurt me any further." Kazuha got off of the man and his bed waiting the Diaymo to get up himself. Despite being so close to the grave he still fears it huh, pondered Kazuha as he gave the old man space.

The Diaymo was still wincing holding his injured hand, but he at the very least seemed to be thankful to be alive. "Come on now old man, bring me that puzzle box," muttered Kazuha as he helped the man up. The elderly Diaymo scurried over a large bookshelf in his chamber. The man began throwing books on the bookshelf to the ground; meanwhile, Kazuha stood behind the man tapping his foot. After a few moments, the pathetic leader turned around to face Kazuha. He was holding a metal box in his hands and extended it towards the masked nukennin. "Here it is," announced the Diaymo with a frown on his face. "Open it up, you fool," replied Kazuha rudely. The old man was visibly annoyed, but he began to shift pieces of the box around. He looked as if he had never really opened the box himself. Because of this, Kazuha stood in front of the dopey old man for ten whole minutes before he managed to open the small box. The metal box slid open and gold light began pouring out of the tiny box. The old man went to reach for the coin, but Kazuha smacked his hand away before he could reach. "That's mine now shitlord," muttered the nukennin as he picked up the glowing coin.

The elderly man had collapsed at his knees and seemed wholly defeated. Before he could try anything else Kazuha kicked him square in the jaw. This sent the old man flying to the ground where he slept soundly. Blood and drool was pooling out of the elderly Diaymo's mouth, but he would be fine. Kazuha put the mesmerizing coin in his pocket, so he didn't have to look at it any more. Man, there is something wrong with this coin. No wonder he kept it so locked up, pondered Kazuha as he felt along the walls of the Diaymo's chamber. The boy was looking for a weak point in the stone wall that he could destroy. After feeling around for a few moments Kazuha located a soft spot in the sandstone wall. He widened his stance and used Denkou Akuryoku on both of his hands. Using all of his strength Kazuka jammed both of his hands through the sandstone wall of the Diaymo's chambers. He began furiously jabbing at the wall using his coating of raiton chakra to break it down. His hands tore through the soft stone easily until he formed a small hole. Kazuha crawled through the hole he created in the wall of the Diaymo's chamber. The hole lead directly outside, but the man's chamber was high above the ground. Kazuha was peering down a great distance.

The small boy leapt out of the small hole he had created in the Diaymo's room. He began falling at a great speed down the side of the mountain. Kazuha could hear loud alarm bells ringing from the castle, but he had already escaped with what he needed. A small thundercloud formed under the feet of Kazuha as he used Ranton Koukuu Ninbassugre. This cloud allowed him to catch himself mid-air and begin flying away. Kazuha hid himself in the night sky as just another moving cloud above the desert. His next destination was Hi no Kuni, but first he had to deliver this coin. The nukennin flew for an hour before he felt comfortable enough removing his mask. Not being allowed to kill is a first for me. Usually everyone around me encourages me to kill whatever chance I get. Money is a great motivator to prevent me from killing huh, ruminated Kazuha as he flew high above the ground.
