"Knowledge and awareness are vague, and perhaps better called illusions." The chuunin poked and prodded at the tomoe marking on his left palm; moreover, Takeo was wholly unsure where the marking came from or what its purpose was. He washed his hands in his bathroom before exiting his home. Takeo planned on trekking deep into Hi no Kuni's forests to get some time for himself; he found that he could often find himself in silence and that his mind required this. The chuunin bandaged up his left hand to hide the tomoe marking on his palm; continually, he put his white kimono on and tied it tight with a black sash. He kept the two locks on each side of his head tied but let his ponytail down. His long hair could provide him with warmth when surrounded by the wind's cold bite. Takeo made sure to lock his house after exiting, and he headed his way towards the edge of the Kokuun sector. This part of the village was one of the oldest and had plenty of security flaws making it easy to get in and out. The sky above Tenkaigakure was clear and bright causing the chuunin's hair to shine in the sun. Takeo made his way to the Kokuun sector's edge and scaled the wall; one of the shinobi on guard gave Takeo an odd look, but the chuunin simply waved his hand in response. Takeo hopped off of the wall landing in scattered snow above the Hi no Kuni forest floor. The wind in the forest began to pick up as the chuunin moved through it. "Knowledge and awareness are vague, and perhaps better called illusions." His hair picked up with the wind and moved gently behind him. Takeo rested his left hand inside of his kimono while his right rummaged through his playbook. It had been some time since the chuunin's last cigarette due to trying to kick the habit. He realized that smoking cigarettes was a bad habit he had picked up all too early. After four months of intensive meditation and training, Takeo no longer felt a need to smoke. He still enjoyed it from time-to-time, but the act had lost its pervasive grip on the chuunin. The snow barely made its way in between the chuunin's toes due to the open face of his black ninja-tabi. His playbook was open to a section on the varied chuunin trio interactions. One page was designated for Itsuki, Yume, and Takeo while the other was designated for Itsuki, Akimoto, and Takeo. He compared both of the pages at once looking for similarities in Akimoto and Yume's fighting style. Nothing similar at all, considered Takeo in thought. He became excited at the prospect of creating new team strategies for a squad of four. I should discuss this matter with Itsuki; he is always full of crazy ideas, ruminated the chuunin as he moved through the forest north of Tenkaigakure. Yume's page was filled with all sorts of interesting strategies to disable and capture the opponent. On the other hand, Akimoto's page was comparatively unimpressive. Takeo closed his playbook and slipped it back into his kimono. Clouds began to circle overhead shielding Takeo from the oncoming rays of sunshine. He ran his right hand through his mane and let out a soft yawn. Using the same hand he rubbed at his left eye. Nine-Tailed Jinchūriki template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

"Knowledge and awareness are vague, and perhaps better called illusions." The winter was a period of time where Takeo often found himself reflecting. He was born in this season; moreover, Takeo shared many similarities with the season. Winter was often a hated period of time in Hi no Kuni due to the land's renowned warm weather. Takeo was walking alongside a partially frozen stream; he was following it up towards a sizeable waterfall. The forest during this season was often rife with bandits and highwaymen desperate for anything to stab at. From a young age, Takeo knew to avoid the forests in the winter because of all of the genin that went missing there. Bandits were of no danger to Takeo, but if a nukennin were to stumble upon the chuunin that would prove troublesome. The wind continued to whip around Takeo as the clouds darkened. Cold air crawled down his back and snapped his attention to his surroundings. The barren trees were dancing before his eyes and snow began to flutter through the sky. He continued to walk alongside the stream allowing snowflakes to gather on his head. Takeo had not seal much of anything in his kimono apart from his ninja-to and some kunai; meanwhile, he was following the partially frozen stream up towards a small hill. There was a snow covered waterfall flowing water into the stream Takeo had followed. He quickly ran up the cliff using chakra to stick his feet to the rocky terrain. With one motion the chuunin flipped up over the cliffside onto solid ground. He was surprised he did not crash and slip on the snow, but to his luck Takeo had stuck the landing. There was a large river leading into the waterfall near the chuunin. He slowly moved close to the intense flowing water and sat by it. Takeo sat cross legged with his fists pressed together; the chuunin focused on his breathing first. Nine-Tailed Jinchūriki template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

"Knowledge and awareness are vague, and perhaps better called illusions." Each of the chuunin's breaths were harsh and cold; the air that filled the desolate forest was frigid. Takeo continued to focus on his breathing taking four second inhales and five second exhales; continually, the Jinchūriki maintained this technique for forty-five consecutive minutes. A cute little snow person had formed on top of Takeo's soft black hair, but he paid the gathering of snow people no mind and continued his meditation. The forest of Hi no Kuni were quite dead this time of year meaning not even much wildlife teemed within its depths. In the warmer months the forests were filled with life in all forms, but the winter was the polar opposite of the country's typical lush temperate spring and summer. There was the occasional bird chirp or crunch of the snow beneath a creature's feet. Other than that, Takeo was sitting in complete silence for a long time. He focused on nothing but his breathing for an hour. After the first hour, the Jinchūriki began flowing chakra throughout his body. He initially focused on only moving his own chakra throughout his body opposed to attempting to use Kurama's. Nine-Tailed Jinchūriki template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

"Knowledge and awareness are vague, and perhaps better called illusions." Chakra control was something Takeo had always worked hard on; he was not naturally adept at this. Understanding the flow of his own chakra took years to even begin to master; continually, chakra control was indubitably key to making proper use of genjutsu techniques. Using the illusory based jutsu did come naturally to the teen, but gaining control over his chakra was always an uphill battle. Takeo found that mediation helped him better understand the flow of his own chakra. With the energy flowing throughout his body, Takeo began to feel his body come truly alive. The feeling of using chakra was invigorating and often unmentioned. Many shinobi go power-crazed upon learning a few jutsu and run away from their duties to the village. Takeo was in it for the long haul; he had spent much of his life acting like a sponge soaking up all of the knowledge that was around him. Tenkaigakure may have not been the best place to start one's life, but it was quite the place to grow and learn. The village valued knowledge at its core which makes for unique shinobi. The seal on the chuunin's stomach slowly appeared when Takeo began making use of Kurama's chakra. The beast's chakra warmed the chuunin's body and caused some of the snow around him to begin to melt. "Knowledge and awareness are vague, and perhaps better called illusions." Using the chakra of the nine-tails was invigorating but also infuriating. Kurama's personality and mood were tied directly in with his chakra; therefore, making use of the fox's chakra would induce anger in Takeo. Even sitting her meditating the chuunin could feel the emotion surge throughout his body. Extracting small amounts of Kurama's chakra when meditating was a technique Takeo used to better bare the consequences of Kyuubi's power. The air around Takeo flickered once as the snow surrounding him evaporated. Before he knew it, the chuunin's own chakra began feeding directly into his left palm. In a moment of panic Takeo stopped channeling Kurama's power and opened his eyes. Without realizing it the chuunin began feeding some of his chakra into the seal on his left palm. This caused the seal to begin spreading up his left arm; Takeo activated his Sharingan and continued to feed the seal his chakra out of curiosity. This process was extremely painful and exhausting; continually, the chuunin's dojutsu could pick up a entirely separate chakra flowing back into his body from the seal. This new chakra was intense and provided Takeo with a great amount of power; meanwhile, the tomoe seal had completely spread over his body. Nine-Tailed Jinchūriki template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

"Knowledge and awareness are vague, and perhaps better called illusions." Whatever was flowing through the chuunin's body felt similar to Kurama's chakra; it was noticeably different but surprisingly similar. Takeo could feel a surge of power flow through his body and quickly stood up from sitting. The chuunin condensed a large amount of Katon chakra in his body and held the tiger hand seal using Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu. Takeo launched a roaring dragon head-shaped fireball into the sky. It only traveled for ten meters before exploding in the sky; continually this caused an updraft in the air. The chuunin then proceeded to flip down the small waterfall onto the stream below; he quickly performed a series of hand seals using Fuuton: Daitoppa. Takeo blasted the base of the waterfall with a large gust of wind that sent the moving water flying in all directions. The clouds overhead began to darken and block out even more of the winter sun. Following the two loud noises created by Takeo's jutsu was a volley of arrows. From above the waterfall a group of ten arrows flew down towards the chuunin. Despite the surprise, Takeo reacted quickly with two back hand-springs. Nine-Tailed Jinchūriki template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

"Knowledge and awareness are vague, and perhaps better called illusions." The chuunin's eyes darted up at the top of the waterfall where they met two individuals. Only two, not common for bandits, considered Takeo as he made eyes with one of them. "Why the hell do you have those weird markings on your body, kid," questioned a man wielding a large bow. There was a woman at his side; she had auburn hair and a purple cloak. "I don't have to answer to the man who launched pointed arrows in my direction," snarled back Takeo with a dry tone. The woman began cackling and looked over at her compatriot, "let's end this punk," she called out in a rage. Following this, the purple cloaked lady floated down from the top of the waterfall. She landed on the small stream now littered with arrows. Takeo backed up slightly unsure how to react; nonetheless, the small lady grabbed one of the arrow's from the ground and rushed at Takeo. "Knocked Explosive Arrow," yelled out the man atop the waterfall. The chuunin's eyes shifted into action when his Sharingan activated. The strange lady's movements became easy to read, but her partner was launching an arrow at Takeo. The chuunin ran back down the stream into the barren forest as two arrows were fired in his direction. The first hit a tree branch above the teen causing a substantial explosion; continually, the shards of wood fell down behind the still sprinting Takeo. He could hear the auburn haired woman on his tail, but his ears also picked up on the second arrow. It was fired somewhat after the first causing it to be delayed; the explosive arrow was also aimed higher up than the first. This caused it to land in front of Takeo as he was running, and the large explosion created a small crater in the ground sending snow in all directions. Before he knew it, the chuunin was being grabbed from behind. Nine-Tailed Jinchūriki template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0
